As TASvideos.org has grown and changed, so have the tools used to create the content found within it. TASing was still in its infancy when these movies were created, and the tools we have at our disposal today almost guarantee that improvements are possible. So if you're new to TASing, or a veteran looking for your next project, take a look at these movies and see just how much you can make them better!

A technically unusually simple game for the Genesis completed as fast as possible with two characters played by one player.

- Heavy glitch abuse
- Uses hardest difficulty
- Genre: Adventure
- Genre: Platform
Flashback is the sci-fi version of Prince of Persia. There is a lot of jumping, rolling and climbing to move around the levels.

This movie uses a lot of bugs to get ahead faster. The most prominent one is probably walking through walls, which renders keys obsolete. Also, if you finish a level without having some important item, the game assumes you have it anyway.

We recommend the author's comments of this run.

- Uses hardest difficulty
- Genre: Fighting
Combatribes is a side-scrolling fighter without much side-scrolling, but all the more fighting. Mostly jumping on poor defenseless bad guys and repeatedly polishing the sidewalk with their faces.

- Contains speed/entertainment tradeoffs
- Genre: Platform
- Genre: Puzzle
Umihara Kawase (海腹川背) is about a schoolgirl with a bag of holding and a rubber fishing line setting out to rid the world of giant mutant fish.

This video plays the longest path of the game having only two bosses, aka. Bob's path, which you can find at the Field Map page.

The Umihara Kawase page has more information about this game.

The boss levels are quite long in this movie ― they can't really be sped up, but the author of the movie has done his best to make it worth watching.

No frogs were harmed in the making of this movie.
