Submission Text Full Submission Page
Super Mario World is a game which needs no introduction. Many people have tried and studied this game, and their skill and knowledge are still growing although almost twenty years have passed since it got released. Now the currently published run is beaten by 4.5 seconds, which I never believed when submitting it.

Hello and congratulations on your first TAS experiment. However, I don't think this video is a submission material for TASVideos. As you yourself admit, it's full of various kind of errors. The TASVideos submission queue is meant for videos that should eventually become publications, and there's a quality bar on those publications. More information at: http://tasvideos.org/Rules.html You're welcome to continue refining your skills, and perhaps one day you'll create something truly outstanding. This submission is not it, though.

was this a serious submission, or a practice TAS, or "experiment"?

Check to make sure your submission beats the current published run. http://tasvideos.org/2494S.html I would suggest you read the related forums if you would like comments or reviews of your works in progress. This is practically mandatory before attempting to publish an improvement to a well-established run. Finally, if you haven't already, check out these tutorials made by Adelikat. http://tasvideos.org/TASTutorial.html Good luck on your future runs!

The grammar quality seems to be equal to the quality of the run.

The submission text of the currently published TAS was used as a template for this submission text, but some lines that should have been deleted weren't.

Thank you for getting my hopes up when I saw this on the workbench; I thought, "Oh dear, somebody beat us to it". Anyway, I went to watch the run but it was 63,000 frames and only 221 rerecords. :p I suggest you check out here, though the page is very outdated. A lot more tricks have been found recently.

This movie is about 19000 frames longer than it needs to be. However, even though it finishes the game in about 12:45, it's still almost two and a half minutes behind the currently published run.

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to say here, but I can only assume this wasn't it.

You should stop underestimating the intelligence of people here, I don't even need to be a mod to know this and the Killer Instinct submission were sent from the same IP address. http://tasvideos.org/pageinfo.exe?page=3251S http://tasvideos.org/pageinfo.exe?page=3254S You could at least make a more deceptive user name.
