Hello, everyone. I come back to this game - my first pub game.
When I TASed this game in 2011, I couldn't improve the run before Dr. fight in last stage. Even lost some frames before that. However, I'm making 100% run for this game during these days. And found some improvements before stage 5. So I tried to remake secret run. And now, I've improved 15 frames.
In fact, I lost frames after stage 1...

Level-by-Level Notes:

Stage 1: 17 frames saved.
8 frames saved before the collapsed building. By better luck manipulation on the poles.
Most of others come from beating the huge boss faster.
Stage 2: 1 frame lost.
Stage 3: 1 frame lost.
In these 2 stages, I saved frames somewhere and lost frames somewhere...

Other comments:

It seems that using Fang to beat game is the fastest and the easiest. You'll see their difference in my next 100% run.
And so fewer rerecord counts...

GoddessMaria: Judging.
GoddessMaria: Despite the emulation differences between this movie and the publushed one, it is 15 frames faster and has been well receieved.
Accepting as improvement to the previous run of this category.
Spikestuff: Poor Gens, no one likes you... Yup, no one at all.

The time displays as longer because a more accurate framerate has been used for timing Genesis movies since the time when the previous one was published 7 years ago, which results in slightly longer movie times for the same (or lower) framecount. Gens itself doesn't run at the correct framerate, and thus reports a wrong time.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

My guess is that one run is being timed at 60fps and the other at the true fps of a Genesis console: http://tasvideos.org/PlatformFramerates.html
