This is a DIG DUG in PSX Namco Museum Vol.3(Japan). Made as a SuperPlay. DIG Achievement with 8 enemies alive in ROUND 9.

Masterjun: Judging.
Masterjun: The goal of "DIG Achievement with 8 enemies" is arbitrary and does not make for an entertaining movie. This game repeats after 12 rounds. You only play to round 9, thus, this run doesn't complete the game.
Rejected.

If you're going to TAS an Arcade game that has a very long time to load thanks to it being done on the PS1 version. Why bother? TAS the NES version or some other Cartridge based version. If the only version is on the PS1 then TAS the PS1 version. If there's a harder difficulty on the PS1 version that doesn't exist in the Arcade's dip switches. TAS the PS1 version. You're losing a crap time of time when comparing off to the NES version. As for loops. If I'm not mistaken, and anyone's free to correct me on it. A Game Loop for Dig Dug is at the end of 12 or 15. Arbitrary branch and using the wrong system. No Vote. Also, you used the slowest possible method of killing, and ontop of all that your Round 9 is the shitshow of your entire TAS. Edit: Also don't take Nécroyeur's advice, else you'll pull out a worse TAS since MAME-RR is a pile of garbage for using the outdated TASing methods and really needs to be ported to Hawk or overhauled entirely. Unless you want to get away with making a half-ass no effort TASes, falsify your objectives and avoid all controversy behind it by hiding from it and still somehow getting accepted for putting out garbage then do that. Also Arcade takes a longer time to boot for the same god damn game. So Arcade can shove off.

You might also consider using the arcade version.
