The submission message follows:
- Emulator used: Gens 9z
- one person controls 2 players
- aims for fastest completion
This is a 2 players movie of Altered Beast, 28.26 seconds (1696 frames) faster than Dan's 1 player version. It abuses a programming error so that you only need to see the transformation once per level (normally, you need to see it twice on 2 players). Without this alone, a 2 player run would be about 15 seconds slower (not counting other improvements) compared to a 1 player run, because of having to see both players transform. Bosses memory addresses (HP): - 00FFE365 = 1st, 4th and 5th boss
- 00FFE3A5 = 2nd boss
- 00FFE377 = 3rd boss
adelikat: The verdict is "accepted for publication". The movie should have used the hardest difficulty setting by using B+Start at the title screen. An improved movie that does not use this will be rejected. As a result, an "improved" movie will be longer than this submission. Also, I am encoding this movie.

Okay, I must leave this my yes. Being that I'm so furry, some of those scene's you did with those sprites were freggen awesome! My favorite was of course the dragon parts, heheh. Rawr, explicit thoughts involving sprites in a very funny game....how furry of me. Anyway, great run man. :3

There's a bit of avoidable lag caused by the dragon's beam attack in level 2, but I'm still voting yes, because
1) It's 28 seconds faster than the published movie
2) It's much more entertaining than the published movie
3) There are only 20 frames of lag here, and they are an acceptable loss when considering that they were incurred in making the game more entertaining.

Jesus those scenes were hilarious. All the boring parts of the run were covered up with some hot beast on beast action. Easy Yes vote.

Super run FODA! So amusing. Nice entertainment during the waiting periods. There are so many positive things you can say about this fine game but I think the most significant part is when the bald headed guy appears does that evil laughter: "HA HA HA" :) Priceless. Voted yes.
Edit: On second thought, I hope I did not vote no on accident.

I was waiting for a new Altered Beast run for almost two years, and it's finally here! And it gets straight into my top-3. :D
I have a complaint, though… One of the things that amused me in the previous version so much was the incredible* design of enemies' sprites, but they all were driven offscreen in this version, which looks a bit lame in my opinion.

Okay, those sex pose scenes were not part of game's plot, but the player's "imagination".
In my opinion, it is immature humor.
Generally speaking, I was not entertained by this movie (same goes for its predecessors), and I was slightly annoyed by the player's obsession to homosexual animal sex scenes, so my vote is a NO. |

My point is, including children in such arguments is pointless, even if there are people innocent enough to not know about sex yet being able to find and play tool-assisted speedruns from this site, they would likely not understand the sexual innuendos whatsoever. Altered Beast is already gay by itself (two big undead males getting naked and turning into animals to save a bird, who later becomes a girl, how is that), I fail to see how FODA's playthrough is dirty enough to shatter a child's life in comparison.

Of course as a site administrator there are imago issues -- not only my own, but things about the site's imago to consider, and the directions taken by every choice.
This site has no age restrictions. Most of the people watching the movies on the site are not "children", as others have said I think Bionic Commando is probally a much more offensive game, even although I find the Hitler references quite funny.
About run the run, a boring crap game made funny I vote yes.
Aside its an improvement anyway.
