The submission message follows:
This is an improvement over the published movie by 47.4 seconds (2841 frames). Much of the improvement comes from using the 2 player option rather than the 1 player. In 1 player mode, a single controller controls both characters but only 1 at a time. The player can freely alternate between the two and the CPU takes control of the other character. The CPU player is immune to damage which is an advantage. In the published movie, this it taken advantage of to avoid damage by rapidly changing characters. In 2 player mode, you can control each character simulataneously. The immunity trick can not be used and both are always vulnerable. As a result I have to take more damage and stop more to take care of enemies. But there is a huge advantage with 2 player mode because I can coordinate the 2 characters better. Once can pick up an item while the other heads for an exit, for instance. This also gives me the chance to perform antics with a player while another is doing an action; increasing the overall entertainment value. Overall, the change results in most of the 47 second improvement. Summary

You've been doing what I would like to do if I had more time: improving on any and all movies from 2004. So thanks:) Watching this now...
EDIT: I had no idea what was going on for most of the time, but near the end I started to get the idea. I have a question though, is it necessary to put the ticket parts in the bedroom after each one you collect, or can you collect multiples and assemble them all at once? If not, I can't really think of anything that I could spot that seemed amiss. It wasn't particularly entertaining, but only due to a funky game choice. Yes for a much overdue improvement. _________________ Living Well Is The Best Revenge

Noticeably less backtracking and no screen shaking. Good improvement.
I know, it can be looked up in a gamefaq, but it might be a little easier to watch, if you could give just a short summary what has to be done for each ticket part. |

Another badass run by adelikat. Man, you're a fucking machine! Yes vote as the run was well planned and well executed.

You can only hold so many items at once, so I had to make a pit stop. _________________ http://tasvideos.org/Adelikat.html

"Uh, uh...that was cool"
I'll ad a yes, since it's good in every way. I found it entertaining, funny and damn fast especially for someone who had a movie published the same week.
Nice going there speedy :D |

| I know this game fairly well and even I found it a bit hard to follow in parts, until I watched it a second time. The improvement to the old movie is quite significant though. Especially nice is how you cancelled the rocking out animation when B&B find a ticket piece by exiting at the same time. Yes vote! |

Nice improvement! This is definitely a lot funnier and smoother-looking than the original was. I, too, liked how you canceled Beavis and Butthead's "found ticket" animation by exiting simultaneously, but I also liked the synchronized movement in several places in the sewer, as well as how the two of them worked together in some places (notably the school) to pass through enemies without taking damage (exploiting the inability for enemies to hurt you even through touch when damaged.)
Yes vote. _________________ - The Green Herring |

The running animation in this game is pretty funny.
Maybe a bit biased (just look at my avatar...) but I though the run was pretty entertaining and of course, optimal. Yes vote. |

Before I make a fool of myself and vote no like I have before...how had you planned on getting to the credits? If I'm not mistaken it's required to input until the credits. Otherwise I love this run. Who knew right? such vast improvements. Makes me think I should just stop TASing. I'm only a perfectionist, not a programmer. _________________ Current projects:

The previous run ended input in the same place. Personally, I think this is correct because the goal is to not get to the credits but rather to allow Beavis & Butthead to rock out to GWAR A.S.A.P, clearly :)
Also, I would hate to skip past the rocking out scene just for the sake of some boring credits. Let them rock out! Dun DaDaDa Dun DaDaDaDun. _________________ http://tasvideos.org/Adelikat.html

Hahaha, yes! A great improvement, and remarkable use of both characters to bypass enemies. Great to see there was a lot less backtracking too.
Would be a yes vote if I hadn't been lazy and just registered. >.> |

I watched the previous movie first before this one just so I can understand what has been improved. The switching in the 1p run was more annoying that anything else and its great how you used 2 players to your advantage such as cancelling the rocking which seemed to be the biggest time saver. Anyway 'yes' vote. _________________ z0MG wrote:

Definitely more entertaining, as 2P co-op runs usually are. Great job! I've always thought the gameplay for this game wasn't that bad at all (if a little short).
Hmm... should you do the best ending? Getting past the guards at the end could be entertaining, but for the most part it would be a copy of the normal game with a few detours. |
