The man I had the honor to break SMB2 with, commonly known as adelikat is the one and only here.

I would so give this vote to Baxter for his incredibly hard (and successfully completed) projects, but adelikat takes the edge due to being far most versatile (TASed all consoles with nearly all categories, did both speedruns and playarounds) and most overall productive (20 runs in one year = a lot). JXQ could have picked up the competition if he didn't take a break this long, with his TASing speed he could've cranked out another 2-3 runs, I'd say. :)

My thoughts exactly. adelikat takes it, for me.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

I'd like to vote for Randil, while he's mostly sticked to slightly obscure NES games, I feel his movies are done with the tightest optimization compared to the other great TASers on the list.

Due to the number of runs, versatility on all platforms, and the overall quality of his work, I vote adelikat. Not to mention all the work he does with judging and publishing; if it weren't for him, the submission queue would be 4 pages long.

Tough choice between Adelikat, JXQ, and Randil, but as has been the theme with the rest of my votes, versatility wins the day. Edit: now I can't remember who I voted for, and the explanation I posted here doesn't really help.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to abstain on this vote, since I can't really decide which of these deserves the award over the others. They've all made great TASs and have all proved their ability over and over. Just consider this a vote for all of them. :)

Adelikat, for SMB2, Marble Madness, and Punchout. Baxter wins runner-up for Tetris.

Adelikat continues to impress me over and over again. Randil was an upstart, Baxter is just a crazy mofo, and Cardboard TASes better than julmust in June. In this case, # of tases is the deciding factor. Adelikat wins, despite him having a large number of partner TASes.

I would have voted JXQ, for being the author of my favorite game of all time but Adelikat is a crazy robot so ... My vote goes to him.
