The few players who have seen this game know that it's an evanescent one. An average speedrun might achieve a time such as 6 minutes. A 5 minute record is an excellent time for speedruns of this game, but requires a lot of luck.
But here we have a movie that is 50% faster than even that! Phil competed intensely with Walker_Boh, and this movie is the final result.

At 2006-04-28, a FCEU movie was added to replace the old Famtasia movie. It is 3 frames slower at the beginning, but otherwise identical in content.
The AVI was also replaced with a better quality one, hence, the download statistics were reset. The previous AVI had been downloaded 8018 times.

This is a historic movie, submitted and obsoleted before the creation of the database-based (and wiki-based) site engine, before July 2004.
It was inserted to the database in a history revival project by Bisqwit in autumn 2006.

It´s Goonies 1! Had completely forgot that this game even excisted but then I found it somehow. It´s actually similiar to Goonies 2, but faster and more simple. The only annoyance is that you have to wait for bombs to explode so you can open doors and obtain keys and goonies. Also it´s kinda random but I think I have the fastest route for every stage. Also I managed to manipulate the last stage so the girl was behind the very first door instead of the last. This saved me 13 seconds.
This was the first and last Goonies submission that even resembled something normal. All the successors just walked through the ending doors without bothering to collect keys.

A long time has passed since the last improvement to this speedrun, and the frame fights between Phil and Walker_Boh had almost been forgotten. Now Randil joins the fight, and beats the previous run by 48 frames, "thanks to better luck manipulation and some improved movements".
