Rockman & Forte, known as Mega Man & Bass in the western world, is the last game chronologically released for the original Rockman/Mega Man series.
This time around, Wily has his own creation turned against him, allowing you to play as Mega Man or a bad guy!
This beautiful run by Gigafrost uses Forte/Bass to totally obliterate the game. Despite this being a tough game to master, Gigafrost slashes through as if there were almost no obstacles at all.
Over a year was spent making this run, resulting in a highly entertaining video using the weapons and special abilities to great effect (and when it looks just plain cool).

This time around, Wily has his own creation turned against him, allowing you to play as Megaman or a bad guy!
This run uses only Rockman, however, and collects all 100 CDs, which is not intended to be possible using only one character.
There is also another run by sparky, which uses Forte and does not collect all the CDs.

Rockman & Forte (ロックマン&フォルテ), known as Megaman & Bass in the western world, used to be the last game chronologically released for the original Rockman/Megaman series, until Rockman & Forte Mirai kara no Chōsensha (ロックマン&フォルテ 未来からの挑戦者) was released on the WonderSwan handheld system.
This time around, Wily has his own creation turned against him, allowing you to play as Megaman or a bad guy!
This run uses only Rockman, however, and collects all 100 CDs, which is not intended to be possible using only one character. Then again, many things happen that were not intended to be possible.
There are two more Rockman & Forte runs to watch on this site. Both of these runs don't collect all 100 CDs. There is a run that completes the game as Rockman, and there is a run that completes the game as Forte.

Rockman & Forte (ロックマン&フォルテ), known as Mega Man & Bass in the western world, used to be the last game chronologically released for the original Rockman/Mega Man series, until Rockman & Forte Mirai kara no Chōsensha (ロックマン&フォルテ 未来からの挑戦者) was released on the WonderSwan handheld system. This game bears a striking resemblance to Mega Man 8, not only in style, but in excessive graphic detail.
Similarly to Mega Man X4, the player has the option to choose one of two characters to play through. In this run, Forte is chosen.
FractalFusion takes apart the game with some glitches that allow Forte to zip around in walls. This run is 5:23 faster than the previous run, mostly due to an item called Counter Attacker (Cost Attack in Mega Man & Bass GBA) that allows more damage to a boss if Forte is low on health. This also explains why Forte takes much damage throughout the run. Read the author's comments for more details.
Note: This movie contains a death. It is intentional, and saves time.

sparky sets the first time for a Rockman run for this game, and proves that even an SNES game released as late as in 1998 can be really glitchy. To learn more about sparky's techniques, you can read the author's comments.

This time around, Dr. Wily has his own creation turned against him, allowing the player to use Mega Man or a bad guy!
However, in this run, the players only use Mega Man and collect each and every CD in the game, which shouldn't be possible using only one character. Then again, many things happen in this movie that weren't intended to be possible.
This run is a collaboration between sparky, the current author of the other branches for this game, parrot14green, the author of the previous "100 CDs" run, and woabcfl, the author of the Rockman no Constancy runs. It improves the previous movie by 01:40.97. You can read the authors' comments for more details.
