This is an often overlooked famous game.
Here we have a boy and a "blob" that likes all kinds of candies. When the blob eats these candies, it transforms into different tools the boy can use.
Note: The Japanese version of this game has a different (and better looking) boy than this USA version, but otherwise the games are the same.

A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia (1989) is a popular, whimsical game in which a shapeshifting blob (named Blobert) from the planet Blobolonia teams up with an Earth boy to overcome obstacles on both planets and to defeat Blobolonia's evil emperor.
This movie is 13 seconds faster than the previous version by TheAxeMan. The most noticeable improvements are:
  1. A new technique that allows the boy to walk on air.
  2. A small improvement to the placement of the first hole.
To quote hopper's comments: This continues to be the weirdest TAS on the site.
