This is the story of Simon Belmont's horrible weekend without sleep.
The timeunit count for this movie is 3:15:11.
There are several items that are required for the completion of the game, and you can't buy them without killing a certain amount of monsters, thus this movie has quite much of running back and forth, collecting hearts.
There are a few very impressive glitches in this game - using them could cut the time down significantly. We will probably see a version utilizing them in the future.

This is the revised story of Simon Belmont's horrible weekend without sleep.
The timeunit count for this movie is 3:06:23, which is 9 "hours" better than the previous version. The actual movie was improved by 3 minutes and 52 seconds, mostly due to a cool falling-through-floor glitch which is insanely difficult to perform.
There are several items that are required for the completion of the game, and you can't buy them without killing a certain amount of monsters, thus this movie has some running back and forth, collecting hearts. There's also the factor that shops are only open at daytime and monsters are twice as much evil at nighttime...

The timeunit count for this movie is 3:05:58, which is 25 "minutes" better than the previous version, and over 9 "hours" better than the first released version. The actual movie was now improved by 49 seconds, due to better planning and implementation.
It also abuses the falling-through-floor glitch which is insanely difficult to perform.
There are several items that are required for the completion of the game, and you can't buy them without killing a certain amount of monsters, thus this movie has some running back and forth, collecting hearts. There's also the factor that shops are only open at daytime and monsters are twice as much evil at nighttime...

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest is the story of Simon Belmont's horrible weekend without sleep. Two years after defeating Dracula, Simon is physically weakened by Dracula's curse. Simon must gather Dracula's remains and incinerate them at the ruins of Castlevania in order to end the curse.
The timeunit count for this movie is 03:01:17, which is 4 "hours" better than the previous version, and almost 15 "hours" better than the first released version. The actual movie is now improved by 96 seconds, because of better implementation and a new warp.
It also abuses the falling-through-floor glitch, which is insanely difficult to perform.
There are several items that are required for the completion of the game, and you can't buy them without killing a certain amount of monsters; thus, this movie has some running back and forth in order to collect hearts. The timeunit count for this movie is 03:01:08, which is 9 "minutes" better than the previous version by Walker_Boh. The actual movie is 27.35 seconds faster because of significant improvements in two mansions.
It also abuses the falling-through-floor glitch, which is insanely difficult to perform.
There are several items that are required for the completion of the game, and you can't buy them without killing a certain amount of monsters; thus, this movie has some running back and forth in order to collect hearts. There's also the factor that shops are open only at daytime and monsters are twice as evil at nighttime... Hence, there is some necessary waits that may appear as sloppy, but are not.

For video game characters, it seems to be the ability to zip through walls. In this latest TAS by zggzdydp, Simon Belmont joins the league of characters possessing this ability.
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest is the story of Simon's horrible weekend without sleep. Two years after defeating Dracula, the hero is physically weakened by Dracula's curse. He must gather Dracula's remains and incinerate them at the ruins of Castlevania in order to end the curse.
This movie is 2 minutes and 23 seconds faster than the previous effort by the same author. We recommend to read his comments for explanations on how this improvement was achieved.
