Who would have guessed that someone would do a TAS of a storybook game?
This TAS consumes only three torches and collects only one of the six items required by the Sphinx, but it still manages to beat the game.
Note: This movie ends input immediately after defeating the behemoth, whereas current Shadowgate TASes proceed to the last screen of text. Therefore, the time would be slightly longer by current standards.

Shadowgate is a storybook game in which you wake up in front of a big castle and must make your way through it solving a variety of puzzles.
This run, created by the previous author, Randil, along with a player making his TAS debut, ZenicReverie, is 31.53 seconds faster than the previous run of the game. The improvements come from getting the staff through an item overflow glitch, a new route, abusing how the sphinx question works (involving the broom), abusing that some rooms don't drain torch charges, and more minor improvements. For more details, please see the authors' notes.
