Lost forgotten improvements originally created by DyLaX but in future timed abandoned. The rest of the TAS is the same as already created by Lobsterzelda -> just nothing changed (which it was inspiration to publish this). So I decided to share it with you guys (possible it's only some of them, perhaps). Actually only one thing I was changed here by me and it's a moment when Rash was tried attacking the rat by a charge instead of punch (this giving us few frames improvement). Problem is that this changes lead us to get out of sync which wasn't fixed yet. If you wanna help to improve this TAS-es just use them and try to get syncs, if it's possibility at all. Best regards for all speed-running authors!

Well... it looks like I have my work cut out for me to add in these improvements. Nice catch!

You know, I'm not good TAS-er (actually I'm not even a TAS-er). All this stuff are very olddy (probably it was created near 2012-2013, I donno!) and we can see considerable effort invested in this work (real solid coded here bro!) but problem is that he or they? abandoned this project because of unexpected game end glitch (I think so). I assume that the concept of running the project was inconsistent (at the moment it doesn't matters now). But is something I have to tell you dude. In the content I found something interested but I can't found the source... In level 3 in the point of game glitching starts is possibility to create warps and using this warps to teleport yourself directly into level 5. The next steps of movie shows that is the same possibly to do in level 5 & even in level 7 to skip Robo-Manus for example (that is interesting!). This supposed to be part 3 of improvements but I have only movie (looks like as it be something similar to alpha testing of future speed-run, who knows?). This is the link to the movie: https://ufile.io/dxej97mr (I wish to found someday the input source for this!). You know there is problem to do the TAS in this way (if it is really worth to do and changing conception to this one? that's a good question!). Making all this stuff from zero could be much more time consumed I guess. We don't know it really worth in this case so I just leave the decisions to you (remember, it is possibility that this project was abandoned too because is too hard to end it in sense of time).

Have you talked to Zlomus? That vid may be the result of bruteforcing like their GEG.

Seriously I donno dude. All these things I got from my buddy Daniel in 2018 I don't know where and when he had got them. Everything what I know in the moment is that I have them in my old WDC disc at my parents home (which is 186 miles away from, nvm). I only copied interested things like this (believe me contents was really huge!). I put them and just forgotten about until this time. That's all I know on this topic.

Another issue may be the validity of this glitch for use in the warps category. If the warp portal was spawned and touched using the checkpoint glitch, then this trick would be fair-game for the category. If, on the other hand, the warp portal function was called by forcing the PC to jump to an arbitrary spot in the code, then it would be debatable if this is too similar to ACE to really be allowed in the category (and if it is allowed, then why not find a way to warp to the last level of the game and then beat the dark queen?)

The funny thing is that something tempted me to get in here and next funny thing is that Battletoads was at first in the topic (in the moment when I was visiting the tasvideos page). I realized that "wait a minute, I remembered something" in some point of time I watched rat race movie from that content so I decided to compare each other. DyLaX TAS was definitely faster than yours as you can see next part of story you already know.

Let me be honest with you. There is no link here or something like that. I guess that all this stuff never was published with unknown reasons (I don't really know how and when it come from, it just could be a speculation). The important thing is that many of this content are really cool and actually giving to us real improvements, isn't that right?. Formally content belongs to them but there is no sign of them at all. I think that we should use this to upgrade Battletoads TAS-es because I think deserve it.
P.S. This movie originally was recorded in avi format and I just converted it to mkv if it will be satisfying answer to you.

Well, I'm going to use the rat race improvements in the new warpless and warps TASes. As for the video of the level 5 warp glitch... I'm not sure if that will be usable. Besides the issue of the execution potentially being too ACE-like, there's also the possibility that memory values were hacked to allow for the warp to happen as a proof of concept - in which case there would still be no known way to spawn and activate the warp portal in a legitimate TAS.

Good thinking bro, don't forget about level 5 improvement too (26 frames+ is good one too) for warpless run. Talking about creating new topic like "glitch warping" or "legitimate TAS" I guess is too complicated to me so this are leave it to you guys.

You know, I thought for a while about what you tried to say here and I realized that you have got damn right dude. Regarding to this video: https://youtu.be/sMYeBbePuus?t=64, it's actually possible with a little help I guess (I mean different way). When we'll change type of monster to Dark Queen spawn instead of Big Blag (as is actually shown in the clip) and beat her down then you'll check this point (fascinating! I mean don't get too close, this is really interesting point of view -> that's all I meant).
P.S. Dude! Maybe this was a final goal of their project? (but who knows it?). Last hope is in my pal (maybe he knows something about what we don't know).

Hey guys. I brought 2u some news (especially for u feos if you are interested anyway). I just talked with my pal to figure out everything and look what he said: "(...) I worked with many servers as you know I'm the serviceman and if I have good memory about the server where I found all of this, it was actually marked to utilization which I supposed to do as serviceman (and I did). But before I did this I just made research on data (what was there). I found there battletoads stuff and I was remembered that you like battletoads so everything what I was found there I gave it all to you.". I asked him about Zlomus too and that was his answer: "The only one thing I could do for you now, is that I could try to find logs that are related to the server... But I afraid my bro, that actually I don't have it at all, sorry". Now I remembered the time when I had got his disk and there is a strong likelihood that I have much more data (not only their staff too), I guess (wow! this is key to bring all of this and make it public). What do you think about this dude? Can I actually do it? It'll be right for all? Actually, I'm confusing myself.
