Ты без тасэдита работаешь чтоль? В нем и удобнее, и назад можно отматывать. В нем ты сохраняешь проект и потом просто открываешь его снова.
А старым способом вот: запустил мувик свой вчерашний, домотел до места, с которого хочешь продолжить запись, поставил на паузу, сделал сэйв. Переключился в режим Read+Write (кнопка Q) и загрузил этот сэйв. Все, ты продолжаешь запись.

Ну убили тебя и ты возрождаешься неуязвимым временно. И мигаешь. Частота разная. В виртуалдабе смотришь, какая частота мигания. Если через кадр, то при конвертации в 30 фпс у тебя пропадет мигание. Как здесь

Video - Filters - Add - Resize: выбираешь Filter mode Nearest neighbour и коэфициэнт растяжения 300% или 400%.
Потом Video - Frame rate - Conver to fps: 30 (если в видео есть мелькания через кадр, то выставляй 24).
Video - Compression - Xvid MPEG 4; Configure - Target quantizer влево.
File - Save as AVI.

The amount of times you played the game helps only to find a better strategy, to plan your route better. But it doesn't help to make a perfect TAS. You just dive your mind into the game's physics, items, enemies, movements, find necessary RAM values (health, speed, enemies' health) and think about every second of the run (except only the sections where you just run right). Это единственный разумный вариант. Потом при желании можно растянуть размер кадра в виртуалдабе. Надо инструкцию?

From what I've seen, real 3D action is not all happening during this our and a half. It contains unskippable cutscenes too. They are pretty long. So long than I couldn't finish watching the TAS (I never played this game). I prefer games with tons of enemies and items that shall be handled at once (NinjaGaiden3).
