King's Valley for the MSX is a puzzle platformer released by Konami in 1985.
In it, you play as a treasure hunter exploring a pyramid, where you have to collect every gem in each level to progress by utilizing pickaxes to break blocks to make a path to them, while avoiding mummies, and getting trapped.
In it, you play as a treasure hunter exploring a pyramid, where you have to collect every gem in each level to progress by utilizing pickaxes to break blocks to make a path to them, while avoiding mummies, and getting trapped.
In most levels there are multiple exits, picking the wrong one sends you back a level.
This TAS beats the first loop of 15 pyramids, after which the levels repeat, but with harder enemies.

Tech
- Jumping is faster, it's not possible to jump when carrying a pick or a sword, or if the ceiling is too low.
- It's possible to jump the frame after finishing digging blocks even if there is no floor.
- It's possible to avoid getting hit by an enemy if you step up or down stairs the frame they also step in or out of it.
- At some points there are some intentional waits to influence the enemy pathing and prevent them from being in our way when holding a pick or going up stairs.
