Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey is a remake of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story developed by AlphaDream and published by Nintendo for the 3DS in 2018. It shares the same graphical style as the other Mario & Luigi titles released on 3DS as well as a remixed soundtrack. It features two storylines: the main storyline from the original as well as Bowser Jr.'s Journey, which focuses on Bowser Jr. and Kamek setting to defeat the Best Fitness Friends, composed of Dieter, Kaley and Beef, mercenaries hired by Fawful in order to take over Bowser's Castle. This game is also notorious for being the worst selling M&L title in the series, along with being one of the worst selling games in the Mario franchise, and is often cited as a contributing factor to AlphaDream's bankruptcy.
