Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Version are monster-catching role-playing games and part of the "fourth generation" of the Pokémon franchise. It was the first Pokémon game for the Nintendo DS, and it introduced a few new gameplay mechanics, the biggest being the split for Physical and Special attacks and the stats they use. The story follows the same formula as in the previous games: the protagonist and their friend meet up with the local professor and are tasked to catch them all, all the while a terrorist organization plans to literally change the universe.

For this run, CasualPokePlayer beats the game as fast as possible by taking advantage of an oversight in the Japanese version and very precisely corrupting the save file so they can go out-of-bounds into the void and skip right to the Hall of Fame room.
