Comments

This Game Boy version of Darkwing Duck gets quite laggy in places. Most notably from multiple projectiles, but even basic movement will sometimes slow things down fairly unpredictably. For those reasons, I bet a more patient soul could improve this TAS.
I also don't think the arrow weapon glitch from the NES version works here. At least, I couldn't get anything to happen from my testing.
Fairly standard platformer otherwise. Probably the trickiest consideration in routing is deciding where and when to plow through enemies versus killing them for drops or avoiding them.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Uploading a revised version that fixes all the menu delays.
nymx: Well, the menuing corrections have made a big difference. It finally puts you faster than the WR. From my best calculations, it appears you are about 28 seconds faster than the WR...in terms of game play only. If it was timed from power on, it would be more like 42.5 seconds. But...it was a fun little run that took charge of the human inabilities. I also noticed the difference in how you managed Lag...which is one of my favorite optimizations to tackle. Well...everything looks good here.
Accpeting to standard.
