Users are allowed to store or post emulators movie files not approved? For example mame-rr or pcsx2-rr?

The site currently does not support mame-rr or pcsx2-rr movie files, as no parsers have been written for this site for them. In order for us to do that, we need specifications for the movie file, and sample movie files to work with. While they can't currently be uploaded to our site, we do encourage you (or anyone else) to create such movies and post/link them here. That way we will have sample cases to see how stable or effective rerecording is on these platforms, and we can add parsing support, and make them eligible for submission/publication if they work well enough.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

You are welcome to use any emulator you want to make movies, and share those movies on the forums. Emulators only need to be approved by the process Mothrayas mentioned for submitting publication candidates to the Workbench, and (I think) for using TASVideos Userfiles to upload ones you don't want to submit but would like to share.
