RAM Corruption is the only glitch I can't stand at all. I have never found it interesting or entertaining.

Highscore is meaningless in this game due to the level 6 boss, which produces infinite points.
you seem to be missing the part where there is a timelimit

no matter how much you optimize it, it's still gonna look like a "press right and jump" run, unless you find another glitch that actually changes gameplay somewhat

I'm posting this here because I got no answer in the published movies section "a few things: 1. how did you go through that red bee after getting bumped by the 2 moving barrels? O_o and, was it a speed-entertainment tradeoff? 2. how do you avoid getting bumped away from those shield-wielding enemies? 3. I know it's not new, but I never understood how that camera glitch in the rope climbing stage is done?"

you can't play on Hard unless you've beaten the game right? and if beating the game lets you skip cutscenes, then it makes sense to do so I'll watch it when I have time later

he doesn't have a good point, running right and occasionally jumping, even if frame perfect, is something human speedrunners could do. if a TAS doesn't look amazing, super human, then what's the point of even making it? I don't know how that glitch works, but if it's not easy to do then that's the only thing this TAS has of super human play

I've begun work on an All-Coins TAS
oh wow, I missed that whole paragraph and I have to say, I don't agree with that, taking all coins isn't entertaining and if you're gonna do that you might aswell go for an highscore run, which would have to take all coins too imo this game should have 2 categories: speed and highscore, highscore killing all enemies and taking all coins, speed going through the game as fast and as entertainingly as possible currently your run doesn't fall in either category, I'd vote no if it were proposed for publish

I've tried TASing Ninja Senki, but I can't get through the main menu because it keeps crashing… I've tried disabling multithreading, but it doesn't help also, when I loadstate the screen doesn't refresh, and I have to advance 1 frame to refresh it (making it very unprecise)

this game is awesome, I love you for making me know it also I agree with nitsuja about the TAS I might get interested into TASing this myself, maybe I'll be able to help you some edit: btw, I think a TAS should go for highest score possible, which means killing as many enemies as possible (unless there are really many places where avoind them skillfully is that much more entertaining) / or that could go in a separate submission edit2: I only just noticed, why do you take all coins?

TAS looks nice, and so does the game! thanks for the download I haven't tried anymore, but I was using an already saved game so that maybe was the problem with Rotate Gear

I don't know anything about the game, but it often looks like you don't use the crying to its full extent? as I understand it, the bar on the top left is how much you can use it, and it often keeps some 'energy' other than that, this TAS made me want to play the game lol edit: it also looks like you're not turning the other way as soon as you fired a charged shoot to a Toad

what the shit have I watched YES edit: though more seriously, I really don't like this glitch, all the pausing is boring; hopefully there'll be a non-glitched run

I made a TAS of a level in Rotate Gear, but it desynchs instantly apparently, not sure why edit: the game does save replays so I recorded that if anyone is interested lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCgPUBCl_Uc
