You completed the run before you even started the WIP's Time paradox ftw Voting yes because vampire hunters should all be able to move like ninjas

From what I've learned from playing the GBA version, leveling up stats depends on the scale of the skill being put into affect (or being affected) Using swap as an example, if you use this skill on the lower monsters so that the hp&mp swapped is about 3 and 0 respectively, the hp and mp stats (not sure about mp going up, it has been awhile) will go up at the end of the battle. EDIT: Basically, the more hp lost, from 1000 to 3 for example, the greater the chance of leveling up that stat I'm not sure how other stats can be improved but I know that the swap method is the fastest for leveling hp up, even though you could just manipulate the monsters to miss anyway.

I saw the run when it was posted up and I was in complete awe at the speed he went through the run, but the small mistakes he made, made me believe that in was real IMO. At least I know what he was doing when he was arm pumping, I thought he was just making the movie more interesting :P

What, you don't find horrendously glitched runs fun to watch? I certainly do.
Same, thats why I love the lttp runs, plus the game is still fun to play.

It's tool ASSISTED, not tool RELIED video...just my opinion.
It is tool assisted, they didn't use the bot the whole way through the movie, so I don't see how it was tool relied. In that sense actually, wouldn't using the frame advance and the emulator itself be relying on tools, not being assisted? *Waits to be corrected and burned* Voting yes because of the new changes :P

100 000 000+ levels is just insane, I doubt anyone would sit through it personally, I barely lasted through them on the S&K3 knuckles wip and that was only 14, this is just my opinion though.

I think its a good idea just having random pictures that change when the page is reloaded. And what is with the faxanadu picture being animated?

A split screen emulator would be interesting, but that would end up weird, because if one side ended first, the other would probally crash and burn, killing the user...Emulator at the same time. It'd be cool to see though, I'd actually be able to watch the dual megaman x videos >>

I do not recommend it. Most users on this site cannot catch 50% or more of sarcasm. Either that or they refuse to acknowledge sarcasm.
Upgrade to I can't believe its not sarcasm and catch 75% of sarcasm today! And I just remembered that theres that random statue you can fish in in one of the gyms. Not that it'll make much difference, but who knows. I remember printing out a few pages of stuff from a site years ago, looking back on it I can't believe the stuff that people would actually believe, if I can find it i'll type it up for anyone that wants to read its...Glory? Some of it was legit though, such as missingno. But Mr. Mime evolving into Santa Claws...Wtf

I remember him, his site was awesome, then when day it went down for no reason and I've never seen it since. It was an awesome site too. Its also because of his site that I became interested in normal speedruns and TAS's

Its not common to know what it is in text :P Back on topic, but the only way I knew to get missingno was on the coast of seafoam just thinking of that, but is it possible to get other pokemon to spawn here using a similar prng thing to get missingno to appear here? Then again, this is probally why we have the trainer glitch because it's earlier in the game. Just my 2c

I'd love to see a metronome only BT run, the way NMcCoy says sounds like it'd be pretty interesting

In regards to a FFIX run, I think the bare minimum time for a running time is 9 hours, but thats on the actual console. I haven't really had a chance to see what features epsxe has (I can't get it to run my copy of ffix for some reason) and whether or not you could actually cut the time down at a lvl 1 run (Thats alot of potions) but I still think the final fantasy games for anything over the sprite based consoles would be within a reasonable time. Then again, if its a final fantasy movie, I'll watch it, no matter how long it is =P Personally, I'd like to see just a single segment on The FF series on epsxe doing certain things such as Optional Bosses: Ruby, emerald, ozma, and the secret synth guy near the end of ffix, as well as some of the not so optional but still annoying bosses. Can't really think of any of those...Apart from Ark, but that was because I had Dagger/Garnet in her emo state. Now...Back to getting epsxe to work...

Not to mention the walthroughs don't take into consideration perfect luck (I'm not sure how much luck manipulation is in this game, but I'm sure there's at least a fair amount). I'd also like to see a run of this. It'd be interesting to say the least.
When I played, I would reset every time a unit didn't move where I wanted it to, but I doubt there are other things decided by luck (damage is a set formula). Now my Cleanup video doesn't desync! Yay!
Damage may be a set formula, but variations do happen, I used to do the same thing you did but the damage did change. A straight move from a to b in 3 blocks and then attacking another unit does occasionally result in a 1 unit difference. It seems to happen once every while, but I know damage is also random at times.
