If there are minimal routing differences in that regard a TAS that visits all the doors would be able to obsolete one that merely goes through those which are required.
What about Door#1? Link to video About hipotetical HP Management for first level: Of course is possible to end Door#1 with 4 HP to sync all the rest perfectly. But extra HP have penalty of 3 frames on three score screen, so it will be faster to finish it with only 3HP, and later do not get damaged at card-bird around ~14400 of Door#4. Currently by using "secret" exit this level is entirely skipped...

It's not much different from what's done in the first zone anyway, when a runner uses the "secret" exit to finish it in a matter of seconds.

Maybe doing the first world normally instead of taking the pole exit at the begining will be a nice way to add more content too.
It would be great to have non-skipped first level in "All Doors" TAS. (Not two, but three new extra levels!! = Even more content.)

Upon investigation, it appears Espyo was correct, Levels 1 and 4 can indeed be skipped for some reason, the subsequent levels can be entered early without completing them, which is stupid. It seems they should be edited out as well, since otherwise it seems pretty arbitrary to keep them in.
Upon further investigation turned out that Level 8 is also not necessary to visit. It mean that the third (and the most beautiful) improvement from "Big 3" is absolutely useless :( May be to have more content, instead of skipping these doors would be better to complete remaining two secret doors as Evil_3D suggested? And call it "All doors"?

Oh no, Christmas is still in danger!!! As always even more frames can be saved. I found minor optimisation in 2-2 from Teddy World: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/52044428343453101 Only 2 frames was saved here, it just a dust after "Big 3" previous improvements, but nevertheless it still can be considered as "better optimisation" which asked by Flip. --- Sidenote: would be nice to have names of levels in submission text. There are no exact rules about crediting other users contribution, instead each one have their inner feel of what is justise. Oh no, Christmas is still in danger!! Even more frames can be saved. Again. I found the third improvement, in room 8-3 from Games World (Door#8) which can save yet about 200+ frames: Link to video Playing normally is impossible to execute this jump becouse of wheel always appear too early. But there is a way to overcome this obstracle: spawn of wheel is depend on camera position, so by manipulating camera is possible to delay a wheel a little bit and make this wonderful jump possible! P.S. I wonder is three improvements which allowed to save over eight seconds is already a decent contribution to count me as full-fledged co-author or it is still not enough to melt your ice heart and take me into the team?

Oh no, Christmas is still in danger! Even more frames can be saved. I found two new improvements in Christmas World (Door#10) and saved yet 317 frames. Link to video -The first improvement is at 10-1, it is possible to gain enough speed to be able jump directly to the last platform (-139) -The second improvement is at 10-3, it is faster to use bonus level as shortcut (-178) Here input file with new improvements: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/51957325984202459 If Flip will agree to add me as a co-author he can use this file to update submission. If Flip do not want me as co-author he is free to take this improvement as a Christmas gift. So update submission anyway.

I actually interestingly got the opposite effects with this value. instead of counting the ingame frames it counts the in game lag frames. but this made me figure that there should be a value that counts the very opposite.
Strange, in Gens address which i proposed has changes every frame (including lags) at playing levels. It stops only between level is loading (and during menu). For example in the first level of Aqfaq's movie it has 2270 changes. I was supposed that for Biz it would have the same effect and it can be used for comparison.. But it is not! I tested it for your WIP and it always show 0 changes for me... Sorry for misinformation.

turns out it's the very first address (0000, but 00FF0000 on gens). this counts the ingame frames but ignores any frames for loading or lag during gameplay. I even tested to make sure the values would be the same at certain points before you got control of Rick, and they match the ones on gens. so I think it's safe to assume that address 0000 is the one I'll need. Thanks for the help anyway.
Glad that you found solution. Fun fact - standard lag counter do almost exactly the same effect as you wanted.

Try to use 00FFE056 (4 byte; Signed). It is not exactly ingame timer, but this address is changed every in-game frame. So by counting amount of changes (Ram Search show it) you can have kind of in-game timer for this game.

Yeah there are two secret levels, you can get access to them from the roof (pic attached.) The first secret level is boring autoscroller at train. But the second secret level is truly amazing, probably it is the best in whole game, sad that devs do not included it for main list...

The good quality of TAS is our the main priority. We strive to achieve optimal TAS, but cruel truth is that we never really achieve it. Most of published TAS are not perfect. For many games is very common to have a ladder of 4-5 improvements. And these ladders will grow up in future yet futher. It is infinite sequence of improvement. Previous publication is not optimal. Current publication is not optimal. This submission is not optimal. Abandoned WIP is not optimal.

Rule to reject if it slower than existing WIP is not always good. This submission is faster than current publication. Not perfect improvement it is still an improvement. Unfinished WIP is grey area. It is not really "existing record" in full sence. Existing record is [983] NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project "2 players" by Xipo in 30:30.87. This submition is 10 seconds faster. I can understand cases if someone work on better movie, but in this case nobody work on improvement, Dasrik's WIP is from 2007 is pretty sure abandoned. I know that this submission will be rejected/cancelled anyway. But in my opinion sometimes it's better to accept such intermediate TAS as improvement. And obosted them later when/if the better TAS will be submitted.

Since you added branch "Grant" for this movie would be logical to also add "Raptor" branch for [1480] Genesis Jurassic Park "Raptor" by Cpadolf in 02:31.03 becouse both these games has exactly the same choise of characters. P.S. Do not forget to ask Nach to add original unconverted submission file to the pub.
