Most monitors allow you to alter the viewing space of the display area. Just stretch it to occupy the entire screen. >_>

I've also seen similar problems with this as well. Pressing escape to pause the emulator also ends the movie, and I believe loading savestates out of order does this as well.

Running and jumping is the same speed as just running in Super Mario World. (Not to mention flying properly also produces the same speed.)

Cast a cure spell one step before a random battle in FF2, and odds are you'll reset the battle counter.

You can get stuck in the first dungeon in a Keese filled room if you have no offensive items. I found that out years ago...

Sparkster was the sequel to Rocket Knight Adventures. It has both a SNES and Genesis version, I believe.

That glitch can also be used in more ways than just getting the Mana Sword early as well. Just simply make a separate save point near other weapon orbs and perform the glitch off of those.

It looks to be nothing more than data being misread as level data.

There's a post on Morimoto's BBS that has a level editor for Rockman 2. It shows what's beyond each boss's room. This probably could've saved you some trouble...

The movie recording plugin also has a sound plugin that must accompany it. Make sure that's set up, if the only time you're not having sound is during the replays.

Final Fantasy III (VI) has been completed in a little over 4 hours legitimately, so it's doable quite faster with everything going your way.

The 3 minute glitch doesn't work on SNES9x, as pressing up/down or left/right is disabled.

To download Dan_'s runs and the runs of a few others around here, it's easier to copy the URL and paste it into the address bar of your browser. Also, it's possible to right click and "Save Target As..." where applicable. Both of these can bypass the hotlinking errors.

And it's arguable when Zelda 3 happens. Dan Owsen, who translated it, though it happened before, so that's why it's called "A Link to the Past" in the US, but Morimoto said in an interview that it happens after.
So, Morimoto is a Zelda expert now too? >_>

Oops, I forgot about the red door. Maybe the Norfair one would be preferable then.

The movie works for me, but it desyncs shortly after the 'Hellhound' boss is defeated.

Yeah, Milky Way Wishes, The Arena, and Revenge of MetaKnight all have to be unlocked. Possibly the Great Cave Offensive as well, I'm not too sure about that.

Okay, here's a few things that I think need mentioning: - Geno Whirl in Super Mario RPG was only designed to do 9999 damage against certain enemies. I believe the only boss that can succumb to this would be Exor. Also, killing enemies that give the 'Once Again' bonus first can be used to minimize battle times. There are also only certain enemies which leave behind the 'Once Again' items. - In Secret of Mana, the only items one would probably need to buy are the ones that refill MP, at least until the Sprite gets MP Drain. You can repeatedly cast spells over and over again on enemies before the first spell's animation is finished and the damage will add up, to a max of 999. So I'd say leveling magic would be more beneficial than leveling weapons. Just find a spell with a short animation and repeatedly cast that.
