The knockdowns in the Mr. Sandman fight are to get Sandman to throw his 3-uppercut move when I get up. This move allows me to deal the most damage in the shortest amount of time, which is also why this is used in the original game.
Ok I guess things are a bit different when you get knocked down in one hit regardless.

You got knocked down several times 14:20 and 14:45 after purely dodging for a long time. Is that really the best way of doing that fight?

Very nice! Liked that assembly breakdown and with that explanation it makes sense how it works. Yet another game that been beaten in a bizarrely fast way. Yes vote.

Liked that one. Interesting velocity keeping mechanics in this flash game. Easily kept my attention through it. Definitely see the influence of that Tower of Heaven in this. Yes vote.

Omg, thanks your reply. But I'm already know how to use TASStudio. Just having trouble with higher tech things. Example search RAM and write scripts
Meant to paste the playlist. Contains ram watch and scripting as well. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFpQiGLusn-aq-z-noMJ7rj9sG3jT3cvW

That was pretty cool actually for Atari 2600! The new version with the wall zipping was an improvement and reminding me of Shinobi 3 wall zipping. Would have been a Yes vote even without the new improvements though.

That was an easy yes vote for sure. This was my favorite game of the series and had some of my favorite levels like the airport and the cruise ship. You destroyed the game.

Very nice. Did not know you could use that feather on top of that tower in stage 2. Right now flip flopping around stage 6 and 7. The pyramid level really does not have ANY shoes at all or pretty much any items which is lame.

You just have to damage them for them to show. Like throw a kunai. But I guess some have other hidden conditions? Interesting.

That is a pretty unique looking older game. I had heard of this Vectrex years ago and it is cool to see a tas of one. Yes vote.

This was very good! 8:00 and 18:00 with the multiple characters you can switch between was great. Must have taken some effort to get that fast for those. It is too bad those boss fights could not be sped up though. Yes vote.

I'm not sure if it exist, but I hope one day I can find a game with only a single menu bug at the very beginning, then submit 2 runs as "glitchless" and "any%".
Hah, there is certainly the possibility of a lot of bad faith submissions, but somehow I do not think there will be too many of these since tasing is really time consuming. Most games are not so easy to optimally tas due to routing, rng, and lag. Maybe some really simple games are really easy to do multiple submissions with a glitchless though. I do think that those bad faith submissions like your example should be chucked in the garbage though since it is super low effort with basically no difference in the final result. Feels like creating a lot of noise and extra work for people for no benefit. Those submissions should just go to userfiles. Edit: Maybe there should be a "gatekeeper difference" like there needs to be at least a 1% change between glitchless and not. To weed out these types of hypothetical submissions.

If this does pass, I will need to ask, for multiple games, what counts as a bug. For instance, Jurassic Park (NES) doubles your need for 1 single frame every time you land. Am I supposed to minimize jumping in a glitchless run?
"Natural" glitches with really minimal impact like graphical glitches or that are just part of gameplay I would not count against a glitchless.

Yes vote. An improvement over the existing one https://tasvideos.org/5226M. This really is a very inventive smw hack. My only criticism is that I liked Darkman425's ending better where Mario runs off the ledge over just waiting for something to come and hit Mario like this one. Tasvideos has that last input for timing, and considering the different endings how much of an improvement is this one?

This really makes me appreciate the better versions of this game more. This does look well tased as limited as it is with the damage boosts. Would honestly not complain if the whole loading section at the start was just cut out. Yes vote.

Interesting question. You have a game, but how would a glitchless category be defined? For me glitches are unintended game behavior, but to others it may be coding errors. So on the face of it defining a glitchless category will be contentious. Ex: for me out of bounds will always be a glitch even though that is in the glitchless category on src for that zelda game you linked. But...certain things should be banned from Glitchless like player intended memory corruption, and in my opinion OOB. Might be good to make a list of usually banned glitches to use to compare to a tas that is claiming to be glitchless.

What version of this game is this? Looks like there is a Japanese version and two different World ones. Interestingly it looks like one of the World versions has a note by a speedrunner that it is "the worst combination for the game". https://www.speedrun.com/nemo_arcade?h=Deathless_All_Difficulties-Energy_Bars-Regions-Hardest_Very_Difficult-Minimum-World_901109&x=7dg3mz7k-ylpqdo68.12v6g9vq-0nw0z40l.1py3ree1-789d703n.qznrog4q Looks like 2 Player mode has longer bosses aka more health, which might explain why every 2 player run is longer than their equivalent 1 Player run. As far the tas goes I like seeing 2 players move around, but I do not feel that they are fully utilized as much as they could be. Also it looks like there is some kind of super powerup where the character gets red, but I do not see that being used as much as I would expect? According to wiki "Collecting a yashichi grants the player limited super attacks that fire a projectile and deliver more damage." Also at points it looks like there are unnecessary delays moving forward like right after 4:50 where one character was ahead but then it becomes nearly neck and neck with the other one.

This is basically my favorite tas this year. Completely unhinged fights. I do not know of any other fighting game with si many nearly game breaking glitches. Yes vote!

This was really well done! Impressive routing and use of abilities and glitches. Took me a while to watch the whole thing so kind of late in voting.

Starting up Karnov for Arcade as a side project, and was wondering if anyone has knowledge about any bugs or glitches they could share about the game?

I need some information here. Obviously this run is good to go for my judgement; however, the previous, https://tasvideos.org/3718S, was not so descriptive and doesn't help me understand the difference between the two. My initial thought is to obsolete, but the previous submission has a category that is not mentioned in this submission. The encodes are different, but is that because of the routes? So my question is...does your run intend to obsolete or is this another category?
I think you should leave that one be and not have this obsolete it instead accept this to a different category. There are some differences to take into consideration and both of these pages might need updating. 1. There are three main paths in this game and each offers different abilities with 7 unique bosses, different side powerups, and routing opportunities. I intend to in the future at least go through that tas with the route "Search For Wily" you linked since I think there are some good time saves to be found there. 2. My submission is on Normal while in the linked submission it was stated to be on the hardest (Very Hard I guess). In Bizhawk I noticed there are no dipswitches for the difficulties so I left it be. In the piano roll there is a button "S" I believe which brings you to a select menu to manually select the difficulty. I found the menu to be kind of slow and jarring and once you finish the game restarts, this felt like a waste of time since I by the time I was done with changing the difficulty a boss would already have been defeated with no real differences. 3. There is one difference with the difficulties "4 Very Hard - Phase 2 Animation Trigger in Round 1" and that is with the "Phase 2" Danger mode or whatever activation cutscene. On normal it just activated two rounds later. So...that would be like 4 extra seconds about between Normal and Very Hard? Other than that I am not completely convinced there would be any significant differences between the difficulties for a TAS considering you can through delays or through position changes manipulate the enemy AI to select moves in any case. As far I could tell casually playing the game the enemies seem slightly more aggressive on higher difficulties, but that is all I noticed. When they die in seconds it does not really matter that much probably. At this point in time I am not going to go through and give it an exhaustive comparison. But...while saying that it might be worthwhile to tag these with the difficulties? I do not know. If you want to look at the different routes look at the current leaderboards here: https://www.speedrun.com/mega_man_2_the_power_fighters?h=Solo-Search_for_Wily-2_Normal&x=zd38oynk-38djwk08.zqo3wp4q-ql6r6x7l.ln84g86l
