So I TASed this, it was a really though and lengthy project but I think it was worth it. (even though it won't get published here) Endtime is 00:49:50 and it should be improvable by ~1-2 minutes, the route should be pretty solid though. Yup

Yay publication :) I think the screenshot should be changed though, since it is not from my movie. But it's really hard to find good pictures, things only looks cool when it is in motion...

Did you do the extra input during your play or after with the input animator?

Much more entertaining than the last 2 runs, and those where already some of the most entertaining runs on the site. Very very good job.

The problem is not backwardsjumping, the problem is doing nothing nothing else than backwardsjumping. It get's old, maybe not in this video but in the full run it was really tiresome. Variety is in almost every case the better choice.

I think the original button for it is Comma (","). If not you go from the menu, Input --> Customize Hotkeys --> Show pressed keys and check what button it is mapped to.

There is already a thread about this hack, on the first page even. Also there is already a full TAS of it, and to my knowledge the hack is not accepted for publication at this site.

Hmm, except I can't without resubmitting all together... Meh, I'll leave it like this unless it means rejection. I mean AFAIK it still does work with any other +WROLD ROM, so I don't really see the harm.

So... Am I supposed to do anything about this whole "stupid ROM" problem. And if so, what? I have no idea.

I meant the Super Glitchtroid TAS, because unless I missed something in there from not speaking japanese that was just terranigma.

Like probably we could've used it near Kraid in our SM:I TASes with CPadolf but it's too late now. :)
I think I actually did test earlier boosting of the green pirate after kraid in my SM:I TAS, first time I ever tried that quirk for a timesaver. Didn't save time though so I took it out, taking that boost earlier has no benefits.

I'm gonna go ahead and submit this if was0x approves. Also you (was0x) should write your real name here to if you want to have it in the submission.

I haven't done any extensive testing (basically I only checked if it could destroy big bubbles in level 2 since that could have been a huge timesaver) but I think they act identical to eachother.

Mega crush doesn't kill all enemies, I think it can't kill anything with more than 1-4 hp or so. The rocks in level 4 have 5 and are resistant to it, the rest I missed I either could have killed (like 1 rock or so in level 5 that was cloaked in the flames) or maga crush would not have helped. (doesn't kill ofscreen eneimies, and besides I don't actually know when ofscreen enemies that never show up spawn)

Damn, I where trying that timesaver for the green brinstar pipebug room for so long in the 100% run, I was so god damned close to getting it but found it impossible. Very nice find. How much did it save to crouch in the first RB shaft, 1 frame, 2? Did you save anything in the PB room? Did you save anything over the falling video I made for the pre PB room?

Wow... Just wow. It is very rare that I get so confused by a run as I got by this, you really need to come up with some explanations. Yes vote naturally, for one of the more glitched up runs on this whole site, which is to say a lot.
