I, personally, think the no A button challenge is awesome. I check this thread every day to see what new techniques are being found.

Please just try using Bizhawk for a bit. It might take some time to get used to it but it'll most likely be worth it.

What is the reason not to use Bizhawk? If it's only personal preference, you best use Bizhawk.

The run is really good, with the exception of the constant map spamming. Other than that, there's not much to complain about. It was really cool to watch.

Whoah, guys. Let's all just chill for a bit. First off, I want to mention that I'm really glad at least somebody worked on a 100% TAS. I don't want to sound ungrateful for the effort that went into this (I realize that, looking back at my post, it sounds like I was). I don't care at all if they submit it here or not. I'm fine as long as I can watch the finished product on YouTube (or even a download of it would be fine).

I really don't understand why they're keeping everything about this TAS a secret.

Wow, it's 2015 and even still new tricks are being found for this game. That's so awesome! I've always wanted to see a full 32-track TAS of this game!

So you guys are gonna upload it to YouTube? I don't really care if it's on this site. I'm happy as long as i'll be able to watch it.

If I were TASing this game, I would use the Gamecube version.

What do you mean by "the same thing"? There are no cork boxes in that level, and no grabbable objects of any kind until after the lone trouble spot.
oh, i see where that would be a problem.

Would it not be possible to do the same thing with BitFS? There has to be a way to beat that level without pressing A.

Does anybody hear speak Japanese? Is it possible that the Japanese TASers know some tricks we might not?

Is the rupee route in that TAS optimal? I've never seen anybody manipulate the rupees from the rocks like that. EDIT: I've noticed some things in that TAS that's somewhat unoptimal (although i'm still not sure about the rupee route). But i've also seen some parts that look different from current TASes on this website. Maybe we could reach out to the Japanese community. I think they might know some things we don't (and vice versa)

I believe 120 star ABC will be possible one day. There is probably some crazy strat for BitFS. If ABC 70 star was possible atm, what would the time estimate be?

All the RTA speedrunners like Cosmo and ZFG are doing tests on this glitch. They're trying to find the best route and find out exactly how much time this saves. I'm looking forward to Any% speedruns going under 18:00 RTA.

So that means it's possible to press all the switches? Or is it not possible to get the green one without A presses?

So the only A press necessary to beat the game is in BitFS? Dang. That really makes me wanna see you guys find some crazy strat to bypass it.

What is the difference between Bomb OI and doing OI with a bottle? Does that let you skip the bottle in Kakariko at the beginning?
