I suggest the "anyone else" option. I'm rather ignorant to today's upgrade & replace & throw away culture, and wouldn't know which display cards to suggest to anyone. Sorry about that.
thanks anyway.
You should double-check that it's really the video card that is broken. Just because you get no image doesn't mean it's the video card. It could be a myriad of other things. (OTOH, if your video card is oldish, you probably want to upgrade it anyways. Nowadays you can get pretty decent video cards for relatively low price, so it isn't a really big investment.)
Well I'll try that. Also, can a damaged controller mess up a lot of things on the comouter?

Hey Bisqwit or anyone else, My video card broke down and I was wondering what would be a good replacement for it? I was trying to repair my PC and I think I broke something and now I cannot see my computer when I boot it up. I was wondering what would a good video card for a HP Vectra 420VF? I think the original card was a GeoForce or something.

Just PSXjin, the audio and video are separate and I don't know how to fuse them to together. Apparently it doesn't like the xvid codec either.
This is a known issue with v2.0.1 - I posted an interim version that fixes it... somewhere.
Well I'll find it and get started on those vidoes I wanted. KKapture was tricky for me to do.

Other than the traditional TAS runs, I wonder if anyone has trouble with AVI recording on this?

Can anyone tell me why I cannot register people? I have the Wii numbers of most of my friends for some games as well as their Wiis yet for some reason it won't register them. I know they are supposed to register me as well as them and I did gave them my code but I don't if they got through or if I got through to them. Is there something wrong? I wanted to register people but something isn't working here.

I recovered my files using the testDisk awhile ago but now I face a new dilemma, some files I cannot open or they open but they don't do anything. I wonder if they are programs for data repairs. Can anyone help me? Also, I tried using Chkdsk but I am sharing the drive with people on a network so Chkdsk will not work but are there chkdsk like programs that will work just as good?

today I created a video playthrough of myself playing Hyleg Ourobockle's level as the boss himself when I realize that I suck at the game. I was able to obtain an EX skill or obtain a form from this boss and most of all, I took long while beating the Dysis ruin. The series is hard, I'll give it that but I didn't really have the much trouble with the first game as I did this one. Any tips on the game? I guess I need to play the game more to get better at it.

Can anyone tell me of a method of using the TestDisk/Photrec program? I need to recover my files but I do not reallyu want to remove any external drives from the host computer. If not, are there any programs that can do this as well?

Can anyone show how to exectue moves from the aplha series? I went to guides but they help me to well as I am doing this on the computer and keyboards aren't notoriously comfortable. I know there is a thread already but I don't feel like necroposting.

I don't feel like necroposting even when there are other threads like this but can anyone show how to do the moves on the keyboard/SNES controller? I don't like spamming tthem and I know I cannot be a master overnight, that takes awhile and I need help the guides help somewhat but I cannot understand the whole HF, HF thing. Can anyone tell how to execute moves on ZSNES, SNES9x or Dpad?

I'm not sure if this is applicable to whatever software you used, but did you do a "quick" format or a "full" format? As I understand it, recovery of the latter may not be possible.
It was a full format I believe but it was long ago.
