Yes, really. On my playthrough, I got the chozodia pack and later the one in Norfair, but none in Tourian. I was going for 100% items without alerting the pirates, but that doesn't seem to be possible :(
No, that one is still there. The PB in Tourian vanishes. You can either get the PB from Chozodia or the one from Tourian, never both. The one in Norfair is unrelated, you need to pick it up either way. Killing Mother Brain doesn't change anything about PBs, it'll only move the XRay.
Wow that's strange! Does that mean if you go to Chozodia to get that PB early (the one near the bottom of its room, underneath several morph ball passages, is the one I'm thinking of), and then back to Norfair, that the chozo statue behind the speed blocks above the lava no longer has a PB in it?
Watching es2xx's 100% run on youtube, following along on a sweet map from Metroid Map Station, it looks like he actually misses a Missile container in the Pirate Ship. es2xx video - screenshot of map just before finishing Missile that was missed? And doing the count, that would make 144. Which gives 230 missiles (which seems to make a little more sense, since all the other maximums matched that of Super Metroid). Yet still it says 100% at the end? Edit: Also, with PB early, could you get the power bombs sitting in Chozodia that get stolen later on? Edit 2: So, watching the rest of the video, you apparently have to get this one during the escape. Whoops! Edit 3: Still curious about the PBs though, if anyone has that answer. Edit 7 million: I might have figured that out too - are those the same PBs that you get in Tourian by the Xray (so if you get them early, they don't appear later)?

Well, you don't need that E-tank anyway, judging by your run. But I'll test that new route when I get there.
So there's no need to avoid the detectors?
Is that really faster? Seems better to just go straight up at the spikes, rather than zigzag through the ship. But then again I haven't tested it so I wouldn't know.
Btw, Hoandjzj, what route did find that was faster than going up the spikes to get into the pirate ship?
it will be certainly more entertaining to see a quick boss fight indeed. How are you going to enter gray doors??? If the strategy to gray doors take time and they are many, maybe it would be better to kill Botwoon if the loss is just few seconds, so you can call it a entertainment trade off. ;) Btw, i didn't watch the video due to graphic problems, but there seems to be a NBMN run in nicovideo. I don't know if the TASer fighs Draygon in the end, but it says it is a 100% collection NBMN iirc.

I hope you finish it before that happens Hoandjzj!!! I really enjoyed your last TAS of this game before Cpadolf took on the project. It was very entertaining and you produced it in like a week with a completely different route!!! I was really surprised how fast you did it!!!
Yea I mean the Shine Spark Glitch thing where it allows you to run afterwards. Will it allow you to run faster in the lava then normal or is it still the same speed without speed echos? I'm not very familiar with some of the glitches the hacks have.
The 100% run is something I really, really want to remake, but probably never will. Last time it took something like 6 months to finish, and I just don't think I have that time anymore.
I thought it could be used in the "hot water"... i mean, i know the effect the shinespark have in the dark lava, but as you use it in water, i thought it could be used there. Fucking useless shinespark bug!
What would happen if you cancel the Shine Spark out? Will it run again? Also in lava if you Shine Spark and take the Speed Booster off it speeds up. Anyway Cpadolf are you planning on improving your Super Metroid 100% TAS?
