I think it's good the way it is. I couldn't care less about GB/SGB/GBC games but I do like to check the GBA forum from time to time.

I would be against using the 'special stuff'. It kills a big part of the entertainment, at least from the perspective of a person who has actually played the game. What's the point of playing/TASing this game if Baleog can jump? It makes many puzzles redundant and IMO should be considered as a cheat.

Welcome to the forums, Neo Shinryu. [offtopic]

Skype is an internet telephone program. It's quite meh.
Actually it's pretty good. I use it to communicate with my father when he is in Thailand (about 6 months/year) and we can hear each other a lot better than if we used the telephone. The main reason for using it is of course that it's free. Calling from the other side of the planet is quite expensive with a cellphone. I don't see what you find so 'meh' about it.[/offtopic]

Testing 1 2 3. I decided to give this a try. I didn't have any specific moods in mind with my avatars though, I just thought it'd be nice to have more avatars than one.

I don't think that he has just taken the movie files from here, some people also submit their movie files to his site as well as TASVideos.

If fame is what you want, isn't submitting your movie to as many places as possible the best choice? Besides, submitting it here is as easy as it gets since you don't even need to encode it yourself. Personally I don't see why videos shouldn't be uploaded to other places. I'm glad this one was at Google videos so I could get to see it. I just can't get Mupen to work properly.

I'm glad you're back, AngerFist. "Show your time for SHOWTIME!!!" wasn't really working for me.

mmbossman, Why must you act like a dick? Even if he is acting like one, it doesn't mean that you have to degenerate to his level. Kyrsimys

It's not just that he is called by his nickname, it's that he casually mentions it in the context of his local go club.

So it's a TAS? Why not just submit it? Or post in the existing thread. Starting a new one seems unnecessary. Well it seems like a good time to me, haven't been following the OoT thread so I don't know what the new TAS is aiming at.

Oh, by the way, this is probably the nerdiest thing I have ever seen.

I used the nick "Warp" for the first time in the internet, IIRC, in 1994 and haven't changed it since. Some people even call me with that name in real life (for example at the local go club).

I don't think there is much point in posting stuff about incomplete hacks. If it's incomplete, it just can't (well it CAN but it shouldn't) be TASed.

I think it's been accepted a long time ago, no one's just submitted a ZMV yet.

I watched the movie and was completely ready to vote yes. Then I decided to watch Sleepz's run before voting for an honest comparison. After watching Sleepz's run I just have to vote no for this one, it doesn't even come close to achieving the kind of acrobacy that Sleepz does. I couldn't care less for speed in a movie like this, the improvement doesn't matter, it's the entertainment. And there Sleepz's movie simply does a better job. Sorry Vatch. I urge everyone to watch Sleepz's run after/before this one, don't vote without knowing what it's going to obsolete.

So we should start a new topic for every funny video we come across on the Internet now? (Hint: no)

As well as giving us the .smv would be a more helpful option :) Why are you so strongly against releasing the .smv anyway? Are you afraid people will encode it themselves and steal your credit? How often has that happened in the entire history of TASvideos? Not very.

It's not like WE don't know how to play back an .smv file. Why must you torture us with YouTube?

I thought it required the cape. I grabbed a shell and entered the pipe, flew up to the bones, took damage from the shell and became Small Mario and then completed the level.

Oh man, this just reminds me of how much I love this game. The ending is the best EVER. Great run, too. I never knew you could get through it with no unnecessary fights.
