I like this game, and I used to play it on console :) Although I felt like some parts could have been done faster, the new route, new tricks and the improvement Walker's run definitely warrant a yes vote from me. Well played.

It was fun to watch the level portions of the game, plus there is nice time saving over previous version.

I haven't hex edited before today, but I read the FAQ on the site, downloaded your program and edited with ease. Great contribution to the site! Thanks.

I've been waiting to watch this, and it was just as impressive as I hoped it would be. :) Nice teamwork.

It seems I'm the only one experiencing desync issues with this run? I tried both Metroid (U) and Metroid (U) [!], both with the exact right check-sums. They both desync for me the 2nd time you wedge yourself through a red door using a critter. Samus just stands next to the red door after then for a couple seconds taking another hit or two, then you reset and everything seems fine again. But within 20 seconds Samus dies and I see the 'Game Over' screen.
Bizzare. It worked fine for me in FCEU 0.98.16 with matching checksum. Do you have any cheats enabled or anything? Also, I love the new route! Well played.

Wow, nice work! I wanted to try and make a new any% run, but I'm lazy. Hope to see this in a published run soon.

Watching that movie was kind of boring, but I enjoyed the music and the 'poetry'.

I wish I would have and could be a more disciplined student. I could have gotten stellar marks, but I only read what I wanted out of assigned readings, and I procrastinated heavily on every assignment. But hey, despite writing all my papers in 2 hours at 6 AM before class, not to mention failing to read the texts quite often, and failing 1 semester, I still got a B+ average :) At least I went to almost all my classes and lectures (except on that bad semester). Basically, I mean what Dromiceius said without that part about the blog.

I remember this arcade version when I was a kid. I wonder how different it really is, so now I want to play it :)

I liked this movie. I wish there was some way to manipulate the doors so you wouldn't have to wait on them to open. I also laughed at the "WINNERS DON'T USE DRUGS." :)

This was a movie I looked for when I first stumbled onto the site. I'm glad we have one now, and I hope it gets published. Quite entertaining.

I enjoy this game, and I'd love to see a run of it. I would imagine it would be very difficult to optimize, though.

I actually sought after a Lode Runner TAS when I first visited the site because I've enjoyed the NES and other various versions of the game. I hope someone makes it soon (I might consider the project too if there is sufficient interest).

Did you find any good FAQs or guides that explained making those GIFs? I want to learn how to do that.

I can't imagine tasing with a controller. Sounds far too awkward for me. Someone should make a poll, because after reading this thread, I get the impression that most players use controllers.

sweet. gotta check this out. how many frames did you save over my first 2 levels? Edit: Looks pretty solid to me. I was a little disappointed with use of the spread gun, but it speeds up the boss fights, so meh. I think the J rom was a good choice. More envirionment animation (level 8 looks really trippy). Got my vote.
