I'm going to rewrite the encoding manual, to cover everything from installing codecs to the publication routine. This could help to request for new publishers to handle zombies.
Great idea. Already like the encoding package you released, feos!

Guys, are you kidding? XD It's fucking Fabian. Of course he's kidding! This should ring a bell: "probably voting no."

Hi all! We agreed to post a wip when we got to the twin bridges. Ever since Masterjun joined the project, he bought a level of motivation to it so we've been working pretty hard. This wip completes Star World 3. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/949164897/smw-96-wip.smv Tomorrow I'll edit this post with level comments I'm writing right now. We're currently 830 frames (14 seconds) ahead of ISM's wip due to one large improvement in Cookie Mountain and many minor ones - but haven't compared to Fabian yet. If someone could make some kind of encode I'd be really grateful, too :) Enjoy.
I will encode it right now. Do you want me to upload it on YouTube too (can be unlisted or something, if you want)?

Bonjour! J'aimerais dans les jours qui suivent commenter les runs suivantes (en français, bien sûr): [1984] N64 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 by Nahoc in 05:18.72 [1985] N64 Chameleon Twist 2 by Nahoc in 21:57.27 [2053] N64 Bomberman 64 by Nahoc in 23:38.55 [2071] N64 Chameleon Twist by Nahoc in 11:04.37 [2088] N64 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater by Nahoc in 05:08.08 Et je me demandais si certain d'entre vous étaient assez expérimentés dans ces jeux pour commenter avec moi (ou pas expérimentés du tout, mais qui aiment bien ces runs)?

I think the published run should be in the moon tier, since it was made for entertainment and is currently (officially) the most entertaining run of Super Smash Bros. to date. This run should definitely be published in the Vault though. Finally, with the new site system, both the most entertaining and the fastest runs can be published on the site!
I second this.

Isn't it faster to always do long webs instead of only short ones?

Also, today I moved every existing publication with a rating under 6.0 to the vault. I picked this number because the result set looked to be a good case of border-line vault material movies. Was this the perfect list? No, but it got pretty close. I expect there will be outliers, so if you users disagree with some of those moves, please discuss in the thread for that publication.
Why are you using the general rating value instead of only entertainment rating? Isn't there supposed to be entertainment-based system in tiers? Right now there's even one Playaround and one Demonstration in the Vault! This is terribly incorrect. I thought you proposed the Vault as a place for speedruns of less popular games, but it appears you really meant it to be a dump.
Give it some time... there is a lot to do and all TASes need to be classified. The automated system isn't 100% accurate. Of lot of manual work is necessary. =)

The movie desyncs for me. Every time i try to watch it it shows the long intro, unlike the youtube video where it skips it. I use the exact same plugins and the same Japanese rom ofc (it has the same code). Any ideas?
Try deleting the Bomberman 64 save file (.eep) from Mupen's save folder before playing back.

that looks really good, nice job Nahoc, did my comments help you at all in improving the boo house thing place 100 coins? I noticed jumpkicks in the trailer video
Must admit, your comment didn't give me the idea, but it gave me the motivation to do it! XD Yes, it ended up saving 26 frames. We're doing THI100 right now, but it's very hard; lots of luck manipulation.

I've been trying for a while now and nothing happens (I'm on emulator). What kind of pit? I'm trying to trigger a crash in 1-2, where the cable car is.

I'm bad, just made a new thread about these games thinking no one else thought of 'em haha Downloading the isos now and probably going to play around with them tonight on dolphin, I'll upload what I can come up with by the end of this week.
Did you come up with something? I'm still interested in TASing this game, but the physics are just too plain weird.. Holding diagonal seems faster at start, but sometimes during falls too. It makes no sense and ends up making the game really hard to TAS. If anyone can figure it out (maybe via memory viewing) tell me!

Making a TAS for Mega Man Zero 3 is very very difficult,it takes 13 days for making(for 100% run)
>very very difficult >13 days Also, how many time does the J version save on the U version, McBobX? Your answer to Mothrayas isn't clear. We need a number in frame or something.

Update: Shifting Sand Land is done, moving on to Lethal Lava Land. We used over 36k re-records on just SSL100 alone. Pretty funny considering Rikku used 63k re-records on his complete 120 stars TAS. To say the least, it's pretty optimized! ;D We now have 50 stars. Most LLL stars are done and will be hexed. I just got 7"40 on Red-Hot Log Rolling. Though, LLL100 will need to be re-done (and will probably be paired with Bully the Bullies, not sure yet). The main .m64 says ~440k re-records for now, but I think it should be hexed to about 500k considering some extra side work. What will be the final re-records count? 2 millions? What will be the final time? 1:30? 1:29? Bets start now! Anyway, I hope you guys are eager to see the run! It looks great and will finally be done. Get hype! ;D
