However, i noticed that ripping stuff from NV and uploading to youtube without asking so others can watch it is very common.
I'd just like to point out that the opposite is also very common.

Wow. Will you be using route from George's 4:25 real-time speedrun or you will create your own?
I'll use whatever comes out the fastest! ;)

Alright, now that my v2 for THPS1 is submitted, I'll go ahead and try THPS3. Unlike the current published run, I'm aiming to beat the game as fast as possible (which I think will still be entertaining enough to warrant publication). I'll post my progress in this thread for those of you who are interested.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think if you end competition right after combo, the notes are very low, but if you do another trick, game recalculates points faster, so you can end your run sooner.
Actually, no. The game doesn't account your points until you completely land a trick. I do another trick right after to get my points counted (and since the last trick isn't worth landing or anything, I just do a quick nollie). If you just land your big trick and end competition, the game will go in that semi-dark state where the points just slowly go down (looking like the game is 'compiling' your points) and this takes time. I hope my explanation makes sense. tl;dr: nollie at the end is necessary.

I may continue this if there's enough interest. I always thought it was a shame this under rated game was not done.
I'm highly interested to see more WIPs from you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8InbNWEdGPo I'm slightly surprised no one shared this. Other than this possibly being the only star you can do this with. It got me thinking though. We've seen a chunk of what an A-less run would look like. But what about a Z-less run? Or (Bowser exempt) a B and Z-less run? I'm quite sure the former is possible, but what about the latter? My first concern is what the first star would be?
Answering your first question, it's possible to do a Z-less run, even a B and Z less run might be possible...is it? Also, please explain why the hell you had 1991 stars in that video (jk)
Try to throw bowser without using the B button.

With the no-A-button TAS, is the problem with getting into later levels that you can't get into the Bowser levels, or that you can't complete them? It might be worth doing a no-A-button TAS starting with the save file produced from the 0 star TAS, in order to have access to every level. (Assuming you can even get upstairs, and through every level entrance, without jumping; I guess you can but am not certain.)
The problem is that you can't enter the pipe in BitDW to beat Bowser. Yes, a TAS collecting the most stars without the A button (starting from a file with all doors opened) would be great.

I just started a "100%" run for Chameleon Twist 2. What is "100%"?

20 coins in each level, secret carrot to be found in some of the levels, and the final coin of some levels require you to beat a small minigame (bowling, pool, etc). You get a costume for each 20 coins which would waste time to actually put on :P, and at the end of the game it says "You are a true chameleon twist master". The secret carrot are required to access the minigames which give you the 20th coin
Do you guys think you'd enjoy such a run?

Huh, I guess this TAS contains way too much luck manipulation to just "hex" the improvement which is at the very beginning of the movie...
