I tried uploading the HD encode of this movie to YouTube; 44 hours is a bit too long for me. And, of course, YES vote from me. Really enjoyable run.

Anyone working on an encode yet? Would appreciate that A TON...seems like I've been wanting to see a 105% on this game since the day I discovered TASvideos oh so many years ago.
HD encode ended up in a 12GB file that would have taken 44 hours to upload to YouTube, sadly... So no HD encode from me.

I don't think there's such a function in any snes9x version (I'm talking about auto-hold). Edit: nevermind, I found that function. Would gocha or anybody else be willing to create such a plugin? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, it's the little grey box on the top-left of this video.

Regardless of all of the discussion of hexing, is someone making a collection of TAS WRs for each star?
Records used to be listed here, but that list is extremely outdated by now. It was meant to be replaced by this, but there are lots of gaps in it.
Sadly it is not updated yet.
This is where all the records are being held, for now.

well I'm interested in seeing the fastest possible time the game aknowledges as legit (which I consider it giving you the star)
This is the fastest completion I can remember, but I'm sure there is faster knowing how this game constantly gets improved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEnmg0WRAaw You can collect the star from doing this, but it is not worth it in a real run as setting it up takes to much time.

More like playing at 10 fps and using savestates. On a side note, I really enjoy this "TAS" so far. A more optimized version of this would definitely be a must-see.

Like the soundtrack. Awesome gameplay and I like the fact that you don't abuse the "moonwalk" trick. Yes vote.

Here is the main page of the SM64 TAS competition, if anyone would like to participate. There may also be a SMW TAS competition here.

What are the goals of the run?
Reaching the end credits as fast as possible. It's pretty much like an any% run.

I feel like it might be faster to get more special meter in 'School' before getting to the secret tape. It should make you a fair bit faster right? Maybe you tested this and it was slower.
Indeed, I should get more special before reaching the rail in School Miami then perform a special slide to get the pro score tape. That being said, there are some other places that can be improved in this run.
