Yeah, speaking of which, I don't know who's doing them this year. I did them back in 2012 I think, but I don't have the .psd files anymore. EDIT: Here are the .pngs though: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55220482/awards%202012.7z

As you can see here: http://tasvideos.org/UnstreamedMovies.html And here: http://tasvideos.org/NoYoutube.html All movies on the site now have a YouTube link or more! (DailyMotion, NicoVideo, etc.) Although many of them are not in HD (most of those uploads by WebNations or myself), it is still a good milestone completed. Please report any malfunctioning YouTube link in this thread. Problems ranging from delayed audio, broken links, wrong encodes, etc. Other encoders and myself will try to fix those ASAP, aswell as slowly upgrading the current SD YouTube encodes into HD ones. Keep up the good work, encoders! Let's keep the NoYoutube list at 0!

Is there a reason why the downloadable encodes don't have music in them?

That reply is so pervert.
Isn't loli, by definition, an underage child, often depicted in sexual poses in hentai movies/images?

The game still desyncs for no reason on both mupen64 and bizhawk. Better luck next year.

What exactly makes Mupen more comfortable with this game? I'm hearing that a lot. If it's just about memory addresses, well, go find them again in Bizhawk.
Mupen just has a better/faster savestate system, the analog input is easier to use and it just feels more comfortable when you've been TASing on it for 8+ years. I also prefer using MHS for addresses rather than bizhawk's RAM watch. Also, regarding snark publishing the .m64, don't count on it. If you really want to see the most recent run published on TASvideos, one would have to do it himself.

ayy was about to post that too What does OTAS mean btw? And anybody has an idea on how much it saves?
OTAS = 0 stars TAS And probably saves something like 1-2 frames who knows.

I wonder was snark/ToT's 5:00:36 TAS done in Mupen or BizHawk, since Mupen would end up reporting a faster time due to general inaccuracy (noticeable when played back on console). How close is sub 5 not counting mupen timing?
It was done in mupen64, for sure. So on bizhawk it'd be slightly longer and even longer than that on a real N64.

Excellent post Asdrien!

Is it maybe possible to do that pole zip trick without pressing A? What really causes that to occur?
Probably not possible. The zip-glitch comes from the fact that you are grabbing the ceiling of the cage. To grab a ceiling in SM64 you have to press "A". I've been trying to find a way to beat BitFS with 0 presses since this morning, but really I don't see a way. Good luck guys!

Well imagine if you could VSC a lava boost. That’d be quite amazing. I have no idea how it could be done though.

Not that second floor; the one where the Eye to Eye in the Secret Room star is.

Yeah, and in some newer Kirby games, like Return to Dream Land, he can float an infinite number of times like he used to. I don't see why Kirby 64 needed a floating limit though, since some shards are near a pit or very high, and they can be difficult to reach.
It allowed for some puzzles in the game (such as level 3 of world 3), and prevented breaking certain levels. I really liked this run, though I feel like it could be improved... I haven't tried TASing it, though, so I figure there must be some reason certain things couldn't be used.
I know it's been a very long time, but what do you feel could be improved? I may work on a v2 of this game if you know about any big timesavers.

Les gars, ça suffit. Le prochain qui poste de la merde se mérite un joli ban d'un mois gracieuseté de la maison! Si vous voulez vraiment discutter, vous deux, faite-le via un autre medium que les forums s'il-vous-plaît.

Nice, I love the new Tetrisphere icon! The Banjo-Kazooie one is awesome too. Keep it up, Kurabupengin.
