Happens in a lot of areas. If you find Navi turn green anywhere that the scarecrow song doesn't work or it doesn't come up with a sheet, you're supposed to play Sun's Song, Song of Storms, or Epona's Song. You can't bottle the magic fairies and they only restore 7 hearts.
Thanks for your answer, Antoids. I though we had find something new. :P

A bit off-topic : Okay, me and my friend Julien were playing this game and we found something. At some point, in lake Hylia, there's a little island where you get the fire arrows. We got there and played the "Sun song". Suddenly, out of nowhere, an orange little "magic circle" (the one that always happens when a chest in appearing) came, but no chest actually appears. Then, a pink fairy (the ones that replenish your health) appears, but it hadn't wings. Finally, when we touched it, it replenish Link's magic meter. What happened ? I search for informations about "magic meter replenishing fairies" but find nothing. :/

And here I was thinking I'd heard Summer 2010. Well, at least my hopes were crushed now instead of later.
Maybe... maybe... Hey, just keep this in mind : There are 120 stars in the game + lots of side-BLJs. I could do a star per day but, usually, things like school and relationship are priorized. So, I could at least do a star per week, which me and Kyman are trying to. For now, we have pratically 4 stars done (if new routes aren't found). So, yeah, there is progress made and this run will more likely take a year or two. :)

LOL Well, I'm mostly testing individual route for each star now. We will soon start to TAS them, beware !

Solid progress is being made. We now have one good route and 2 stars are pratically done; "Secret of the haunted books" and "Snowman lost his head". This run will happen guys, don't worry. ;)

Bob, you've found a solution! simply go downstairs to VCutM, warp back to start, do DDD and BitFS, the rest of the basement, and then we'd have more than enough stars to get MIPS 2 without backtracking to HMC.
Agreed. This is the best solution.

Okay, then it would be : Enter the castle CCM/WF Either exit course or BLJ from room into PSS (if possible) PSS (either star) BLJ into BitDW (get the red coins star, beat bowser) From BitDW, side blj into PSS PSS (either star) ToTWC CCM/WF Either exit course or BLJ from room into BoB (if possible) BoB BLJ from BoB room to BBH Go to basement MIPS #1 SSL LLL Toad #1 HMC BLJ from HMC stairs to DDD DDD BitFS (get the red coins star, beat bowser) VCutM BLJ into JRB lobby JRB Castle secret aquarium Now this part is subject to change (the first one too :P) : TTM Toad #2 THI SL BLJ through 50 star door Castle secret star with the wingcap (can’t remember the name) TTC Toad #3 RR BitS (get the red coins star, beat bowser) I made my best with this. I can't put MIPS #2 anywhere, sadly.

Where does MIPS 2 play into that? How exactly would you get from DDD room to LLL without opening the star door? Wouldn't it be less traveling if you went to SSL then LLL then HMC? Where would secret aquarium play into this? After JRB? EDIT for sonicpacker: You still need enough stars for MIPS #2!
Forgot that. :/

BLJ into 30-star door. Collect the BitFS star and beat bowser. DDD LLL SSL MIPS #1 HMC BLJ on HMC stairs to the water-lowering pillars VCutM BLJ into JRB 3rd door

We seriously need to get some work done for our good friend Mario. So, I started many single star runs that we could hex in. I'm also working on an official TAS records playlist on my youtube channel. When we'll have discuss the final route, we will be able to start this TAS seriously, I guess.

And what about the 120 star run Nahoc did you quit?
I can't handle such a big project alone; I need help. I could optimize most of the star but I suck at one thing, side-BLJs. So I didn't really "quitted" since I never really "started". If Kyman is willing to help we might acheive to something good.

I don't TAS SM64 anymore. Kyman and Brianstormer are working on the 70 star TAS.
No, they dropped it.

No, because you don't get that star with the 100 coin star. You can get the bully star in 12 seconds, which means there is little room for improvement anyway. Currently, inside the igloo is the fastest star with the 100 coin star.
Totally true.

I think ThMrksman is right. Because you don't "stick" to the BoB stairs. You fly off into the wall.
I think you're right.

It would probably be faster to just go out the door, and side blj on the stairs outside.
Or would it be faster to warp back to begining, then BLJ ?

Well there is bound to be improvements, like the fact that zb is the fastest movement after diving on flat surfaces.
Does it really need to be after an a+b dive or does b only dive works ?

So, Robert's latest .m64 would still be okay ? We'd just need to pursue up to CCM.

I think you should do toad before HMC because then you are closer to the staircase when you do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJP4owsoeFg&feature=channel_page
That's what I was wondering, if we could be able to BLJ into DDD with those stairs. Thanks andymac.

I think I'm the only one working actively on the 120 star. When I'll get my computer, the run will start for real. But, it seems there's always a new route that comes up for one star and take like 2-3 seconds out of it. :P Anyway, seems like I'm the 120 star guy.
