For a SG-1000 game it would be an achievement, really, I've seen worse scrolling. But wow, does it hurt my ears. The run is good, obviously.

A game this badly designed? I sure hope not.
According to the criteria, Game Choice is a strong factor for Moon tier; when a run for SA was first shown, there was a big debate on whether a game as ugly as this should be shown on the site in the first place. Because let's be honest, if this were a romhack then nobody would want to see it. We don't have strict criteria for Windows games yet, but if we did then this would be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
It's a decent run though - no objections there.
Honestly, I hate this kind of game. There is only one pleasure for me when I see that kind of game: someone TASing it and destroying it.

Much like the Lunar Pool video, this one is a purely technical TAS and to that I'd vote yes.
And I'd like to see a 100% run, even if it would be direct to the vault.

While this is still somewhat a hot topic, and before this returns to the depts of the regular forum topic, I would like know what people would then consider to be necessary for the 100% definition.
Should it have: meat? big shield? potions? I haven't heard anyone about potions... on the one hand it can be seem as hearts or bombs, just an item that can be used and is thereby lost... on the other hand, big shield and meat are also items that can be lost... in the second quest, even heart containers can be lost...
And what about obsolete items such as the white sword, blue candle, wooden boomerang, blue ring?
A TAS of this game is a lot of work, and you cannot expect someone to make another 100% TAS on the off-chance that a small majority agrees with the particular choices you made. There has to be some kind of general concensus.
about the obsolete items, I'll still use the "as powerful as Link can be" concept. Using Ocarina of Time as an example, no one would count the Giant's Knife as a necessary item, skipping right to the Biggoron's Sword.
Potions? I guess it would be part of the 100% run, but it's so useless in a TAS.. But, then again, the shield is as useless.
And the 100% second quest run should NOT lose any hearts.

It's still a lot of work to go to to make a max-score TAS when you know that your work and the game will diverge in the (presumably fairly near) future.

Until the hack's scoring system is complete (this is only v0.01 after all), I don't see any reason for one to do a "max score"/96% run yet, as it would become obsolete pretty fast when the next version comes out.
But it wouldn't obsolete the TAS. I guess.

IMO a real 100%-run should actually show all the game's secrets: All the items, all the caves, all dungeons and both bomb-upgrades.
Including all the "pay me for the door repair charge" caves?
"all caves" is dubious. I remember there was a "100%" run of some castlevania game rejected for having as a condition of visiting all rooms and being rejected because most of the rooms visited didn't had anything, and it was boring to see that. It would be the same with LoZ.

It is impossible to get 5/5 in version 0.01. The max you can get is 1/5.
If you're aiming for a perfect score, 10/12 is enough; the categories add up to 102.
