Not sure if this was already posted, but the rom used wasn't:
Adventures of Lolo (U) [!]
It's using:
Adventures of Lolo (U) [b1]
I think b1 means bad dump I may be wrong. Don't remember rules on TAS but isn't this considered a bad rom to use? Not trying to rain on your parade, I enjoyed the movie.
Nice job, I've been wanting to go back and improve it, there was a lot of room for improvement on stage 3 but couldn't bring myself to dedicate the time. Nice to see a faster run was made so quickly, =).
Voting yes. Very entertaining video.
One thing I noticed is you got all the options and the game begins to slow down when there are quite a bit of enemies on the screen and having the options seems to contribute to this, charging the laser with the options also seems to effect the lag pretty badly.
I just think there were some points you could have saved some time by not charging the laser and just doing some regular shots, like at the bubbles in stage 2. Just my thoughts.
Also, it is cool when you emphasized on the making of letters and words when flying idly. Looks awesome when the options are tracing after you.
This was completed, but was rejected due to what seems people not liking that I collected all the orbs and there are a lot of auto scrolling stages unfortunately.
full run was submitted here:

Sorry to burst your bubble =/.
I find the pause being in the middle of the screen more annoying than anything. Great work though, just hope someone makes a run without the pause box being there the whole time =/.
Actually NDS emulation is coming along quite well with a number of games being fully playable (phoenix wright, I think even harvest moon DS works fine).
Problem is that no$gba is the most compatible and it isn't open source. ideaDS is actually pretty good at emulating most games as well. I think it would be a good idea to implement re-record into it now and just update as updates are released, I'm not sure if ideaDS is open source either though.
Actually, I'd say the NES is more difficult due to having to implement the numerous mappers.
One of these days I'll finish my TG16 emulator (planned re-record) :P.
Oh my, I must apologize, I should eloborate on my comment. Calling someone out and telling them to quit TASing altogether simply because they did not enjoy the run is quite the mature thing to do I must say. I watched the run and found it entertaining albeit rather slow but not enough to warrant throwing out personal insults towards the author. I voted meh because I'm on the fence with these type of runs but I find it uncalled for to call someones work a piece of shit simply because I didn't enjoy it and to further continue my discontent by telling the author to retire.
Does this satisfy you and the irony in your post?
Genisto, I used to have respect for you as a TASer. You put out some great runs back in the day.
But I suggest you retire again...go back into hibernation. This piece of shit was awful. While there were indeed some interesting qwirks, the game was far from entertaining or fast. This would be a good video for YouTube, nothing more.
Considering your submissions for this and SMB3 (from All-Stars) is the same, I'm not even gonna bother wasting my time watching that.
This run was disgusting. I've lost all respect for you.
BIG FAT VOTE FOR NO.
(P.S. I have no problem with runs that don't aim for speed [ala River City Ransom run] but I would expect it to be very very entertaining. This run is not the case.)
Rom I'm using:
Startropics (U) [!].nes
32-bit CRC: 2ED79B73
MD5: 02C6BC59ABDF527679A7962C5B390EA6
SHA-1: FDD3D68C7B5B2F9DC7EC50D9888B0A8EDBAAEC28
I just get a black screen when trying to load this game with fceu 0.98.16. It loads perfectly fine using NESten and FCEU 0.98.15. Not sure what the problem is but thought I'd report it.
Actually the hard part is finding the memory addresses or debugging the actual math that is involved in determining whether a hit is critical or not. Once that is figured out and out of the way, it's actually pretty simple to manipulate the numbers if you constantly watch the ram (that is if they are manipulatable).
