Yeah, I wish I didn't have the ability to understand jokes, either. It would make the world much more simple to live in.

I should mention that I bet everyone's ability to participate in the contest, so it looks like everyone's disqualified now.

If memory serves me correctly, there were always going to be two separate branches for sketch glitch and no sketch glitch.

I think I've played through Run Saber casually a couple times, but every time I play it I'm just reminded there's so much in the published run that can be improved. Otherwise, I can't say I've gone back to anything.

Don't worry, Nach's a renowned Pyromaniac.
Ah, of course. I'm sure he's been that way ever since he was a Dr. Fetus.

It's "legitimate" in that SpiderMod is a tool and it's used to assist the speedrun. It just wouldn't be accepted here, obviously, since it directly edits the game and has a lot of planning errors.

Yeah, reducing the frame rate like that would slow the video down, not speed it up.

The shocking twist of DTC5 is when everyone somehow gets the exact same frame count and the victory goes to whoever makes the best art.

I was thinking about that, but as much as I love the idea of shouting "GO TEAM SAD" I'd rather not decide the team name on my own.

There seems to be an issue with the code tag interpreting some lines of code as HTML when using braces, making some posted scripts unusable.

Now all we need is a team name, a better logo, and for me to stop isolating myself from everyone else!

What determines significance for bootleg games? I don't see anything about it in the judging guidelines. The developer (Sachen, under the name Joy Van) and "publisher" (Wisdom Tree, under their old name Color Dreams) are arguably infamous enough as unlicensed developers to give the game some significance thanks to AVGN: Sachen was responsible for the aforementioned Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu as well as Little Red Hood, and Wisdom Tree is pretty much a household name at this point for their... """"efforts"""", shall we say.

Excellent. I can play any instrument well as long as it's small, plastic, and hooked up to a game console.

This looks amazing! Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the script to run. It works for a few seconds before the console spits out an error and deactivates the script:
LuaInterface.LuaScriptException: (filepath)\Run Saber.lua:147: attempt to compare number with boolean
I know absolutely nothing about scripting, so I don't know if this is an error in the script itself or if it's just me having done something weird when copy-pasting. That being said, excellent job on the scripts and working out the difficulty changes and drop mechanics. I wasn't planning on re-doing my improvement run until TAStudio was fully implemented but this is making me change my mind...

Good for you! To be honest, I'm not concerned about your convenience. I want people to be on my video's page, not a little box where they can't (or find it difficult to) rate or comment. If you can't take the time to click a link, you weren't interested enough and don't need to watch.

You kinda are, because you don't use it for Youtube videos.
And that's weird, I'm pretty sure Spikestuff mentioned Nicovideo modules because of people's accounts, not YouTube. So...I replied as such. I'm completely aware I don't do it for YouTube links.
My God, you're egotistical! I wouldn't give a damn about any video I'm unable to watch because I don't feel like jumping through language barrier hoops. If you're doing this for anything other than your minor popularity and overinflated ego then you actually would care about peoples' convenience. You obviously care enough to make encodes in the first place, but that's only because people can't "rate and comment" a movie file.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be allowed unless it actually renders the game incomplete.
