Not another quad run. Sure, it's very impressive, but a hell to watch. And in any way you won't be able to beat any records, I'm sure. And besides, are they that much alike anyway? They need to have almost the exact same graphics and gameplay, else it won't work at all. I can't say as I haven't played any of them.

Wow, redoing already? :p Anyway that's good, I'm sure you'll find some new coin routes with the experience you have now. My version of your blast away the wall was ~18-20 frames faster than your test, and you should be able to save more.

i guess i never mentioned, but i was the 5th vote yes
here are a couple easy solutions for the 2 problems
1. annoying music clashes? find the volume selector
2. cant follow all 4 at once? improve visual analyzation and processing skills with more first person shooters
Someone with only 12 posts can't vote, so obviously you weren't the 5th yes vote.
1. What's the point in watching a speedrun if you can't hear anything? Even if I turn the volume down, the four songs going at once sound pretty annoying together and if I mute it entirely, it somewhat ruins it.
2. Thanks, doc. You cured me. After reading this post, I went and played a first person shooter for several hours a day every day for many weeks and now I am magically able to visually analyze and process four video games at the same time without missing any details. It's a good thing I don't have a job because that would really interfere with my "easy solution" to an inherent human limitation. All that work was easily worth it just so I could watch and enjoy this one speedrun.
Actually lurkers are the only ones who cannot vote, and as you see he's titled a newbie.
On your second point, too much sarcasm.

Watched it. Liked it. Yes on publication.
And for what it's worth the "black blob" is Gooey, and the "girl blob" (if it's the one with the bow that I'm thinking of) is Chu. Both are in Kirby's Dream Land 3.
I didn't know that actually. Thanks for correcting and yes vote. :)

WIP to stage 21
Some of these stages were quite annoying as I had to take breaks from breaking blocks at times, else the character would get a buckled head. I'm not sure I've taken all the fastest routes for these new levels, so please correct me if you find anything. Also check PM, DJ FozzBozz. ;)

Ok, first of all, does any of you know the names of Kirby's animal pals? I sure do. I've played Kirby since 2006 and got familiar with it very quickly. Rick is the Hamster, Coo is the Owl, and Kine is the Fish.
And your point is? :/ It says all the names if you keep the SGB border on when viewing the movie.

This movie definitely defines the term superplay. At the moment I couldn't watch this through, it's just too complicated. However it's a great effort, so I'm voting yes on this. As mentioned though, it could use some post-production.

16 frames ahead up to the same place as you. Already love this game, I might as well go for a full run if there is enough interest. So please post if you think you would like to watch this run.
Excellent!! Did you find new tactics? In which levels did you find place for improvement?
Like you said, jumping is one frame faster than running. So I jump at any place possible. Sometimes you didn't take the chance to jump everywhere (you can do one jump while on a rock, and then one to get to the next platform, which you didn't do). I found no particular tricks really, though stage 7 was greatly improved in v2 (24 frames faster now). Also in stage 4 you did a jump to get to the last friend - simply dropping down is faster as you stay in the air for a much shorter time.
New WIP to stage 11.
I'll be going away for four days now so I won't have any time to work on it, but please provide feedback and critique if there is any. :)

Holy crap! I'm half way through, but I had to stop. You just BLJ'd to the island in Rainbow Ride. This can now be considered a CCC-less star! Did I miss that in the other thread? I haven't been following it because I finished my non-assisted CCC (and two kinds of CC) quest, so this is huge news to me.
Indeed mr_roberts_z is aware of this trick. :) It was posted long time ago in this or the CCC thread, I cannot remember.

No, it is partially your fault. Turbo-Aing to the point that an entire channel of music is gone, as well as using a character that changes the theme to one song for 50% of the game, greatly reduces my enjoyment of the run.
Sorry.
Actually turboing A with the owl doesn't remove any sound - it makes no sound in the first place. This is however true for the fish, which isn't even used that much. I also cannot understand how it is my fault for picking the fastest way of travel?
