What if they never manage to install the correct codec? Then you're just shrinking your fan base.
Or weeding out the weed. Eventually the codec will find its way into the popular video codec packages and it wont be an issue. Until then we'll be blessed with people smart enough to install it properly.

I think that is the plan... Problem is that there will be some dissatisfied people until they manage to install the correct codec. Quality/Size is a lot better however.

I was told to go here, and install that, and use Media Player. It worked actually. Quite Well. http://x264.nl/

Of all the 'newer' (3d) Zeldas, OoT is clearly the best one. By far. what do you think about Rerecording on N64?

I agree that stars should be awarded entirely by entertainment value. Entertainment usually stems from - Familiarity with game - Unrepetetiveness - Length.

rofl, thanks for taking the time to make this, appreciated. Man this is the most evil thing I've ever seen, and I'm sure players would have sued Nintendo if this ever was released as an actual game ;)

All the bosses are quickly disposed of and you seem to zoom through levels at high speed. However I don't know the game well enough to tell you if time can be saved, but I did find it weird that you didn't try to remove those swords that followed you, so you could freely jump those skeletons. Also I think this game could have gained some extra entertainment if you took damage the rigth places. I do not really see the need to take no damage on this game. I will vote later pending your answers :P

Pro PAL: - Smaller published AVI (50 fps vs 60 fps) - Less chance of slowdowns. Con PAL: - Might not have received same testing as NTSC This is after all another category, and I do not see a problem with using Euro honestly.

I took a peek at the GBA hardware, and I see the problems the developers are having. There are different sorts of memory (ROM, IRAM and ERAM) which are accessed at different speeds and at different bitwidths... I can see that can cause problems during emulation. However, ignoring the differences will definately not make emulation accurate, and until someone figures out the right values, I think we should keep on using the values in 6 (before you changed anything). Anyway, thats my $0.03
