This is a fast walkthrough, not a speedrun :P I also hope you try to look around and find out what we mean, and don't take it as too big of a disappointment.

I have to vote no here, because TheAxeMan posted a run through the first episode which is nearly 500 frames faster :P (8 whole seconds!!!) Anyway, Keep it up! :) http://home.comcast.net/~f_amoroso/Shinobi-TheAxeMan.fcm

Run seems nice and clean. A clear megaman clone but had reasonable diversity.

I have to vote Meh on this submission. The Meh is because the game itself is 'plain'. Unless you have played it it doesn't have much action to speak of, and you have to backtrack a lot, and too many of the bosses are just hack-n-slash. Also scenery is too similar, and so on. There is no entertainment in watching this run unless you have previously played the game. The run itself seemed to be performed optimally. Meh due to lack of entertainment for me. (That it lasts 1hr 08 is not a good thing either)

Yes, that seems very correct Fabian... Determining something based on host system is very incorrect done. Hope you find a solution around it.

I feel the need to post here as well just to make you feel even worse. And to invite you to the irc channel #nesvideos, on the irc server irc.enterthegame.com Be there or be queer!

Keep it up, we really need a good gameboy emulator to perform our art on, and this looks like it is ending up just what we need. So please be patient and work towards making our requests fulfilled. It is greatly appreciated.

This is an error with the person who created the AVI, he used wrong settings, fixed settings, and didn't cut it out of the AVI.

Nicely done. Makes you wonder what the original coders would think if they ever saw this performed back when they made the game :P

All those are freeware (ie, you don't need to pay) AFAIK only 3 emulators exist you have to pay for, and thats some NES emulator thats far outdated, some GB emulator, and a playstation emulator.

a 2 minute and 30 sec improvement over your old attempt, I think you pretty much improved it quite a bit then (10% improvement). Nice again, and even better now.

Also remember we like to judge submissions by input length (length of movie file), not by the internal time counters in the game. (This is not always black and white :P )

Teri can avoid entering menu again after the last energy recharge (Saves entering 3 times, only 1 time needed).

If Teri made it properly I would vote yes no doubt :) No pressure Teri, you may decline. (Or do it next time you have time and want to improve!)
