Great WIP. After watching your movie,I find Scumtron jumps in Frmae1436,but if jumping in 1437-1439,we can get 128 Subpix,and lost 1Frame in BOSS's fighting.Can you teach me Why? Frame 5104's right input can help reduce 1 frame,I think nobady can find this,how do you think this? I am interested in some strange Randomness.Getting the tool in left picture can add some frame after hero entering room (right picture) :) hehehehe,who konws

I agree with Sonikkustar.I think Scumtron's run is almost perfect. We can get some sub-pixel(128) by "back jump" ,it maybe help us reduce some frame.But as everyone knows,Ninja Gaiden has much rondomness,this improvment will be wasted because taking damage to save time(Ninja must wait for rondomness). I can add some information for Game."Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future (USA, 990512)",and rom file is sfiii3.zip. I think the problem about desync is different input configure/setting,maybe P1coin or P1start.I met it before.Do you mind upload your FBA.roms.dat or tell us your input?Foe example

I have a idea.We can get level 5 power before BOSS1.Wht not use this power and chang man?I mean we can Pause the game and use 2P(two hero/one control two)to beat BOSS1.Because of two heros,wo can go ahead without adding scroll/screen.By the way,let 2P die spmeplace in stage2.

As far as I know,the rom where you can get 8 extra lives is a hack-rom or (Unl)-rom,it doesn't work in Contra Force(U).You WIP is awesome!I notice you had got level 5 power before BOSS1,I think you can ues it when at level 4,then the hero can shoot three bullets together.Maybe,it can help reduce some frames in BOSS1.

Oh,it is a surprising glitch. Someone in China(sorry,I forget his name)found another glitch in stage2,I call it Free-Walk,he cost two life to do it,and I improve his discovery,just only cost one life. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/533202250/ContraForce-FreeWalk.fcm I am still not really sure if this will save time or not but there maybe a better way using this glitch.

The different is in "INDEX",am I wrong?Or it does not matter?I find the game and its music are normal/standard with my cue.

As a Windows User,I am now reseraching some PCE Games.But I meet some problems."Valis (J)" (a ISO ROM) is a good game,I find I can't open it with Pcejin_83,althouth I have got BIOS file. I think there is a big bug about hotkey "Pause" in FBA0.4. Most TASers probably Pause the Emulator first and Save Slot,then relieve Pause.The bug is that you will not control anything when you relieve Pause.For example(Play Metal Slug),Pause the Emulator,then you press "left+Pause",you will find the man don't move:(,It's true that after some frames can you control it.

It is a NeoGeo Game.So only having file "neogeo.zip" ,can you enjoy it. AngerFist suggested"The ROM should be 27826 bytes and the neogeo bios 1316 bytes",I think he probably neglected "1000",The ROM should be 27826K bytes and the neogeo bios 1316K bytes:) As a fans of Metal Slug,I just say"It 's very nice",Yes Vote easily.

Now I find four problems 1:as BadPotato said "how can we toggle to show input while playback?" 2:if the Emulaotr is Paused,it won't show which slot is it now when using "Next/Previous Slot" 3:"Load game and Replay movie" is not equal to "Replay movie and Load game",the first one is 56FPS,the second one is 60FPS 4:althougt using other tool,it is still hard to watch momory:(The address will often change,I need to seach them again and agian.I am looking forward to seeing someone(thank him) can add this function in next FBA.

Nice WIP.This game is very interesting.There are too many selection in the game,it is not easy to clear which is best.I wonder whether it is necessary to go into shop in the First Level,I think you can buy something better in the next or next+next... level.

This is my first tas on FBA.Ghouls’n Ghosts is very hard,But emulator can help me do better. *Tims is 6:35 *FBA0.24.94.98 *Genre:ACT *Aims for fastest time *Takes damage to save time *Manipulates luck *only one round(before seeing the last BOSS,we should finish two round) emulator file Video online(sorry I can't connect youtube) Ghouls’n Ghosts in Gens is almost same as that in FBA.Ferret Warlord did nice in Gens.So I only share my work,please enjoy it :) Ghouls’n Ghosts in FBA is a little different from other ROM.It need some check.So we must have got another file besides recording file.It is FBA0.roms.dat(in Zip),please put it in \config\FBA0.roms.dat Edit 2009.4.12

I am trying to tas some speedruns on Emulator FBA.Thank you for your Emulator FBA-RRv002-bin.7z. I have used FCEU for many years.So I feel a little unconfortuble with FBA. I can't config hotkey.For example,I plan to use "S" to save slot1 instead "shift+F1",and other config. I can't watch memory.Although I can find the correct memory address by "Cheat Search",I can't watch them when I am tasing :( I wish there will be some new function in next FBA :)

I think there is much information you can tell us :) If you don’t mind,I can give you a little suggestion. FCEU0.98.16 Aims for fastest time Uses no warps Abuses programming errors in the game You use a bug called “flag pole glitch” which can reduce 21 frame in almost stage.And you don’t use it only in 2-1,8-3 because program will congratulate you(time is 346 and 243).It will lost much time. In stage 4-4,you use a bug called ”pass the wall”. In stage 7-1,you wait a little,and you use a bug called “legendary flagpole-stuck glitch” The reason why you become big Mario(level up) is that you can beat BOSS with bullet instead of destroy bridge.Then you can reduce some time.

Most games about Ninja are always interesting. I have finished "pacifist" Ninja Gaiden 1,2,3,which are much slower than Scumtron's.So I can't submit them in "Workbench",but I think they are not very bad :) 1,FCEU0.98.15 2,Take no damage 3,Don't level up 4,Abuses programming errors in the game 5,Manipulates luck 6,Kill enemy as less as possible 7,Aims for fastest time under condition2,3,4,5,6 Ninja Gaiden ROM:Ninja Gaiden (J) Ninja Gaiden (J) is same as Ninja Gaiden (U) no enemies killed except bosseshere Ninja Gaiden 2 ROM:Ninja Gaiden 2(J) Ninja Gaiden 2(J) is same as Ninja Gaiden 2(U) no enemies killed except bosseshere Ninja Gaiden 3 ROM:Ninja Gaiden 3(J) Ninja Gaiden 3(J) is not same as Ninja Gaiden 3(U),Ninja Gaiden 3(J) is a little easier than Ninja Gaiden 3(U),if I use (U) version,I will kill more than 5 enemies. 5 enemies killed besides Bosseshere Thanks to Scumtron Thank you for your enjoying it.
