I'm working on TASing SMB2j using B as little as possible. Right now I just started 4-4 and I've used B three times, once in 4-1 and twice in 4-3. There seems to be absolutely NO way to avoid this, not even walljumps. Would a TAS of this kind be accepted (under concept demos)? Could someone tell me how to attach a file to this post so I can show what I've done so far?

then try version 1.1 if 1.0 doesn't work I've never used an unextracted ZIP file to play ROMs, I always extract them first.

I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be Flash128k.

I don't think double posting is allowed. <--never mind that And if you get the corrupt save data problem, you most likely have a bad ROM.

I'm having problems with the SMB+SMB2j demo of 1-1 on the first or second page of this topic. How do I run two games and replay videos at the same time? It's not a ROM problem, it's replaying the videos because I have to open 2 emulators and hit replay on both of them, which causes one game to be a few seconds ahead of the other...

Some of the levels (mostly the jap-only ones) are quite cool and I think a TAS might be accepted. The [.sav] file link is below, you should use with one of the following: 1212 - Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (U) (v1.0) OR 2161 - Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (U) (v1.1) I forgot which one I used so try both. EDIT: Confirmed that [.sav] only works for v1.1. Link to [.sav] file: http://forums.no.intro.free.fr/showpost.php?p=10287&post%20count=25 https://wfs.bc.edu/phillijv/SMA4_eReader_J_US.sav EDIT: Link changed so can download without signing up for that forum. EDIT2: See pages 3-5 for the link to a more "blank" .sav file.

I'm wondering if someone could do a concept demo of the e-reader levels from SMA4e (including unreleased japanese ones). I know a link to a [.sav] file with all the levels. Would a TAS of this kind be allowed and/or is it allowed for me to post a link to the [.sav] file?

Just wondering, is this game a lot harder to beat than Air 1? I was able to beat Air 1 using only one savestate at the beginning of each level. I watched the movie and it seems like wall jumps and turbofiring A is required to complete the levels, unlike Air 1.

I have an idea. Why not try a run where you get the lowest score possible? I found a video of it on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_0E2SCGKtLI

Thanks for the Snorlax glitch. I found out why it didn't work on my Red version...I passed thru Cerulean City while doing it. -_- Could someone please tell me what pokemon (in blue version) on route 6 have a special of 21? Someone earlier said that there are others besides the lv16 meowth but meowth was the fastest. [merged post] The ZZAZZ glitch can get you all the badges at once?? O_o I wonder...is there already a discussion forum for this new TAS? If so, where? If not, how come no one has started one? Also, would a ZZAZZ glitch run "count"? After all, the glitch does erase your save file if you save after it...

How exactly do you make Snorlax dissappear? It's kind of confusing how you did it in the movie and the description under the submission thingy is also kind of unclear... [merged post] Not sure if you know about this already, but the method shown on GCL about skipping the 1st gym isn't the fastest. I tried it on my red version (cartridge) and I found that after reseting the game after saving, when the boy walks in from the left, you can hold the right button and you'll walk onto route 3 without having to have the boy repeat his dialogue and walk you to the gym in a funny way.

Yes I am Zowayix from GCL. I know that the ZZAZZ glitch causes the player to fight a trainer named TRAINER, and it turns all except #3 of the player's pkmn into level 153 Bulbasaur's whose stats are all 153 and whose moves are Explosion, Explosion, [xxxxx], and Explosion, where [xxxxx] is the move that used to be in that slot before the glitch. It also changes the player's name to ZZDZZAZZ?ZZ or something. I also know that if you save after the glitch, your save file is erased. How else does this glitch affect the game. I didn't know it could spawn items or badges.

Just wondering, what was the player and rival's names during the run? I haven't watched the movie yet.

I found this online before looking at this TAS. http://glitchcity.info/docs/skipfirstgym It says how to skip the 1st gym in R/B. I don't know if it works in Yellow. (Note: I have tried this on a Red game and it does work.)
