I want to know where the wiped 1 frame ascension you mentioned comes from. If it is different from the 1 frame promotion we obtained in 5-1b. This may make it possible to make the whole video two frames faster. Besides, we have no other ideas.

Well, I hope J.Y & aiqiyou (or anybody) will try to reconcile any speed differences we have left. I made a brief effort to work their 5-1 inv. fireeheel change into mine, but it seems my 1 frame improvement in the next room (spike boost) gets wiped by the even/odd rule. Maybe I'm wrong. I've only done a frame comparison on segments between screen transitions, so there could still be speed diffs beside 5-1b and 7-4. If it turns out that no other speed improvements can be worked in, and if J.Y and aiqiyou don't object, I could just fix the 7-4 fight in my file and call it done. (and do a long-procrastinated write-up)
I briefly watch your file yesterday. The 1 frame improvement at 7-4 maybe not effective. As we mentioned in the submission, Final BOSS: 3 frame quick at the 2nd form. But only 2 frame was kept to the final. We need to spend time carefully comparing the two videos. It will take about two or three days. At that time, we will reply the results here.

I updated the submission. Maybe J.Y will add some more details, but it should wait until tomorrow.

I believe it was to make the description longer.
If I don't, the system won't let me submit.

[4271] NES Battletoads "warps, 2 players" by Lobsterzelda in 10:40.61 [4342] NES Castlevania by Challenger in 10:18.91 [4131] NES Mega Man by Shinryuu, pirohiko, Maru & finalfighter in 09:45.35 [4353] NES Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos by Xipo, Scumtron & Samsara in 09:12.34 As far as I am concerned, I perfer Mega Man and Castlevania. Both are milestones. This year, I always thought Mega Man would win this award. Until Castlevania was published, I'm starting to look forward to the voting results this year.

Yeah most of progress is done. I'm just trying to optimize more further, if possible.

I'm surprised how this new TAS improves almost everything! Stage 3, boss 4, stage 5 and the last boss were most notable. Yes vote.

How to set another side of the disk while we making TAS with TAS Editor? It seems I must close TAS Editor then switch the side and then reopen TAS Editor.

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/65950171267733022 There have a game crash glitch at the third BOSS. I want to know if anyone can find something magical out of it.

I like the design concept of the game. But as said, the music of the game is the biggest failure. I enjoy the process of finding a faster route, which is the biggest charm of PUZ. With a couple of glitch's discoveries, the process of collaboration was very enjoyable. Although the content it presents in the end is not brilliant. The good result is that it's accepted by the site.
