Since I haven't updated this page in a long time I would like to see if anyone else is interested. Also, if some bored encoders or want-to-be-encoders are up to it it would be awesome to throw some encodes up on dailymotion (I have been planning to do this myself, but again, it hasn't happened.) I discussed with adelikat on irc a while ago about moving it out of my personal namespace, though I don't remember what he thought about that. Any thoughts on this? Thanks everyone for the suggestions and sorry for being lame.

I've been looking forward to this hitting the workbench! I vote yes. Lots of great strategies and glitches, though admittedly they are probably not obvious to those unfamiliar with how frustrating this game is.

Yeah, sorry, but I'm with boss on this one. If we had movies for everything this would definitely stand up on technical qualifications, but I have rarely seen a more boring movie :\

Beat Tetris and a runs-to-the-right game, swapping right with down and left with up Beat two instances of the same game, swapping B for A (or whatever) (I guess this is trivial if you always push A and B together) Warp: write a lua script that dynamically reinterprets the movie file :P

In the lua script name the file "something.csv" instead of .txt... Are you trying to open within Excel or double-clicking on the file? Opening within Excel will probably work better.

If you write a text file with commas between each "columns" and line feeds at the end of each "row" Excel will interpret it very nicely as a spreadsheet (use extension .csv for the file) For example: 1,5 2,5 3,5 4,6

I did what now? Seriously, if someone asked if I'd done a columns run I would deny it. But now that I've looked it up it does look like I did so... This was OK, but I think a better goal could be found. Cancelled anyway, hope you have some better columns goodness coming up...

The scripting for this emulator is very, very much behind what we have now in FCEUX etc. I frankly was never patient enough to write a useful bot :\ So good luck!
