Maybe. I kinda picture, in a screen full of enemies, shots flying in every direction but hitting nobody. Sometimes it can look more impressive to miss everything than it does to hit.

Meh. Obvious improvement: Attack and miss as often as feasible and only ever kill enemies that would cause lag. Getting that Total Hit Ratio as low as possible to minimize the bonus countdown should definitely be a goal in this run.

Short enough that its shortcomings didn't keep me from finding it entertaining. Yes vote, with a hope that another one comes out soon with Masterjun's improvement.

That was a pleasure to watch again. This could also be called a pacifist, no items run! :)

Can disasters be manipulated away while still ending input early? That would certainly make the TAS a lot more impressive.

Liked it, but then you're statistics at the end gave away a problem. It says you used Game Level: Easy. Unless there's no difference, you should be using the most difficult game level possible. I'll be voting no for this one (and any subsequent one that uses easy) unless you can tell me that it makes no difference.

Not enough of the Moon theme song in the run = No vote. That and you keep picking up these things that give you $1 Mil which just makes the end-stage money counting longer. It'd be faster if you just left them behind. JK!

Voted yes, with a few thoughts and questions: First, at about 49 secs, there's a enemy on the very left side of the screen who spontaneously dies. Why, and is that avoidable? Second, I agree with the others here, that in a pacifist run, the fewer things destroyed, the better. Won't stop me from voting yes, as I loved other parts of this run (especially timing shots to the music). Finally, I think for this game, using Barrier for a pacifist run is cheating. The idea is to dodge around obstacles, not run through them. I'd like to see the next version of this forgo the use of Barrier, even if it means a slower time.

OMG. What the hell did I just watch?!? That was like all my childhood video-game memories on acid. Entertaining? Absolutely, in a sick, twisted, WTF way.

While I love pacifist runs, using Barrier to just pass through enemies removes most of what makes this type of run so interesting. Make one without using barrier and I'll vote yes (though looking at some of the comments, others still might not).

I love pacifist runs, and this one is short enough that its shortcomings aren't that bad. Yes vote!

I like to imagine that Tas either has an accent that causes "jeopardy" to be spelled "jeapordy", or is so high off of drinking Tina's pills that he can't spell.
Ha ha! I love it! :D

If I recall, Jeopardy is misspelled twice in the run.
Doh! Sigh...

I vote yes. I think it was entertaining enough to at least get into the vault.
Thanks. Unfortunately, since it has speed/entertainment trade-offs, it doesn't qualify for vault status. If I had just put the minimal letters required, it might make it to the vault, but that'd be even worse from an entertainment perspective.

jlun2, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the support. Shyft-, no, that's just something I missed. After pouring over this for so long, it's a little embarrassing that I missed something so simple.

Yeah, I was afraid of this reaction. I agree, it's slow and the graphics and sound suck. I had gotten far enough with it that I felt I needed to finish it, but I can understand if this doesn't make the cut. mathgrant, I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and dunnius I'm glad I was able to make you laugh. Hopefully this can make a few more people chuckle before it disappears. :)

French is appropriate, as the Smurfs were originally written in French.

I tried watching it all the way through, but just got too bored. Voting Meh, 'cause I'm guessing it's more entertaining if you've actually played the game.

I actually enjoyed sack_bot's run. Then I watched the linked video. Sorry sack_bot, you'll need to pick a different goal as the linked video showed off a lot more combos and forethought and was a better length. I'm voting Meh on this run and I encourage you to try again with a different goal! A.C. ******

In the glass shop (at about 1:35) you try to kick a pink bowl and miss. Apart from looking sloppy, isn't there any way to break it?
