Yeah, a 100% run would be better. I compared this one to emu's N64 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, and that one is simply more entertaining because it hits everything.

'No' vote from me. Unfortunately, it was too long. If it were under a minute and a half, I'd give it a yes. But five minutes of this is just too boring.

It's such a beautiful game, I was glad for the times where you were just running with nothing happening because I could just focus on the scenery. Definite yes vote. Sometimes you would enter an area, leave it immediately, and then reenter it. Was that for encounter manipulation? As for "Takes no damage", I don't think it applies. Your hit points go from 1 to 0 for a few frames, which I would count as damage. The fact that you heal almost immediately doesn't negate the fact that you took damage.

Nice run. I'm guessing there's probably some improvement to be found in the battles, and possibly not all of those fragments of hope need to be picked up, but I'm sure that can all be done in the next run of the game. For a first run of a game, this definitely gets a yes vote from me. BTW, the lion looks exactly like Caesar from Kimba the White Lion. :)

I can't find a way to remove the Berzerker meter in an appreciable way to make it worth-while from the time perspective.
Oh well, thanks for trying. You've got my yes vote! :)

Good improvement. Is there any way you can get rid of some of that Berzerker meter before getting to Magneto? It takes some time counting that down at the end of the level.

Was it really necessary to get that burger right before Magneto? You seem to end the level with lots of life. Also, there seems to be time taken counting down your 'Berzerker' meter at the end of the Magneto level. Is there any way to get rid of some of that before you get to the end of the level?

Just watched both yours and ECCO's, and I have to say, I like yours better because it seems you only shoot the enemies you have to, where as ECCO seems to shoot everything that's moving. That being said, comparing the time on YouTube from when you beat the boss to when ECCO does, yours is a few seconds slower, so I can't vote yes. But, if yours is truly faster, then change my vote to yes, please. I hated this game as a kid (it was just too hard), so I'm very glad to see it get schooled. :)

If this were playing at level 8, I would vote yes. Because it's playing at level 4, I have to vote no. I actually found it very entertaining. The levels are very fast, and the sounds quickly become almost mantra like. I kept wanting to see what the next level was like, and how each opponent would scream out in defeat. The last boss was absolutely hilarious, and was a great reward for watching the whole thing. I agree with Ferret Warlord, this might stand a better chance of being accepted if it was played by the ox.

Unfortunately, speed isn't a good objective for this kind of game. Some of the events are perfect candidates for a Playaround, however. Similar to the existing Brain Age TAS, what pictures can you draw that the game would interpret as the right answer? In the piano playing section, is it possible to play a completely different song and still get 100% on it? Unfortunately, these require advanced TASing skills, so I'm not sure this is the best game to have as your first. Then again, if you're willing to go through several iterations of making a draft, getting feedback, making another draft, getting more feedback, etc, you could learn a lot. (Oh, and I voted no. But if you can produce something like the Brain Age TAS, with perhaps with something that makes it unique from that TAS, you'd get a yes vote from me)

Yes vote here. It was fun to see how you played with the ghosts the first few times. Unfortunately, they got too fast for you to walk with them later on.

I love short runs like this. A lot of the entertainment is just in how much you broke the game. Voted yes!

Voted yes. Long, but entertaining. I wanted to see what happened when you hit 10,000,000. :) Also, why did the bonuses suddenly drop off in level 13? It seems like it wasn't calculating them correctly.

Wow! And here I was afraid the narration might fall flat. So, do you think all narration works, or mix it up, some narration some silly answers?

I absolutely love Heisanevilgenius's Family Feud TAS, and have wanted to do one like it for a while. Turns out that Jeopardy can be abused exactly the same way. :) I've TASsed the first round, and I want get some feedback before I go any further. Link to video Some questions I have are: - Are the questions and answers readable? Do they stay on the screen long enough? - Do you find it entertaining? - There are actually three matches in the game (Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final). Should I TAS through all three, or just the first one? (I started with the quarter-finals because you need a password to access the latter two) Any other suggestions would be very welcome!

Yes vote from me. It fast and enjoyable. Also, from the above comments about the difficulty, sounds like a worthy game to TAS.

Very nice. Voted 'yes'. I agree with the others, this looks better than the 'deaths' run.

Now I can vote, I must add a YES to this run. Worth every minute watching it.

Thanks everyone for all the support! In response to specific posts:

I do admit that adventure games have issues as TASes. The dialogue and text boxes are usually much more interesting / relevant in these runs, so skipping over them quickly loses more entertainment than in games with more action. You also don't have luck manipulation to the same extent as in RPGs. Given this, a good adventure game TAS needs to exhibit sufficient variety, probably not last too long, and demonstrate enough challenge in route planning.
I think you've come up with good standard by which to judge adventure game TASses. I hope that a standard like this can be adopted instead of having the entire genre excluded from consideration.

I loved the playing around with the watch cursor. I was "WTF?" when I saw it bouncing around then I realized what you were doing. That bird thing also took the cursor and left in on it's nest. Great job making it look so good.
Ha ha! Glad you caught that! I put a fair bit of effort into playing around with the mouse cursor. I never considered that people might think it was just part of the game. XD There are in fact five different times I added mouse cursor movements to the run for entertainment. For a fun Easter egg hunt, try to find them all. (BTW, the bouncing nose and monorail mouth together only count as one)

I can think of many adventure games that could work as entertaining TAS's and hope this is the first of many.
Me too! This is a completely untapped genre when it comes to TASses, so I'm hoping this will prompt others to begin to fill the void. :)

Very nice. If I could vote, I'd vote yes. :) Would someone please explain why Mario sometimes touches the flagpole at more than the minimum height? Wouldn't this cost time to wait for him to slide down?
