Haven't played it, but I have played a game with similar premise- Chronotron. Free, online, flash. http://www.kongregate.com/games/Scarybug/chronotron I have read about Braid, though. One of its worlds works like Chronotron- you play, rewind, and your duplicate does what you did the first time to help you. There was another game I played whose name I forget where you played as a pair of llamas, that functioned similarly- two players played by one. Of course, in Chronotron, you get unlimited (afaik) rewind duplicates per level- at least, until you manage to set up one of their deaths/non-returns to time machine, in which case you must restart the level.

As for people quietly working, I'd recommend firing a pm to mz- I think he said he'd resume work on this when he wasn't working on the playstation emu.

The Legend of Punctuation! Witness as our hero collects the Kokiri Emerald Comma, the Goron Ruby Apostrophe, and the Zora Sapphire(s) Therefore [you must marry me]. Then, after adolescence, witness as he collects six Fullstops!

No, that's the one he mentioned. And...only one other? Yeah, right.

...That when you're stabbing Twinrova, the sword actually protrudes from the front of her(?) crotch for a frame each thrust? I'd think it was the way LinkA gapes at Darunia's crotch. Or handling nude Zora girl. Or the Kokiri who seems to be humping a rock. The ridiculously oversexed Great Fairy? The way Gorons want a hug? No, wait, those're usually in this game. Bongo Bongo kill perhaps as you repeatedly stab him/her/hir/it from behind? You seem to be stabbing Phantom Ganon in the crotch too. As well as a jumpslash that doesn't look like a crotch-shot on closer inspection. The lizard/link/lizard sandwich in Ganon's Tower? the way you return the ball of light straight to Ganon's crotch? You already disclaimed the Zelda-hugging. The way Ganon appears to be exulting and quivering with Link in front of his crotch? The way you jump-slash his butt? How could I choose only one? And the flames around the end battle, at least, looked better on Andy's encoding, which I am uploading to filedropper. . . Slowly. I'll post the link when I wake up, probably. I'm also seeding Raiscan's encode.

Wow that name was input fast. Down the stairs from the right. And again at the dungeon. And backwards at the gambling den. Side note: A pity you didn't happen to walk through the B button slot on way to first dungeon, it'd make a good screenshot. Hope it happens later. . . Almost does, about frame 4420... The enemy manipulation looks quite good. And an old man asks for your money or your life...unlike a normal player, you leave life. hmm...wouldn't happen to be a third of those to have a game-killing 0-heart container experience? Oh, so you kill the flames with silver arrows...I feel stupid Yes vote.

Arf, I already wrote 75% of the answer once, then I accidentally closed the tab before posting it. I'll write it again.
Ever considered using the tabmix+ extension for firefox? It has, among other things, a very handy "Undo Close Tab" option. (This is actually not the first time I suggest it to you. I find it a bit strange that you use firefox and have many extension installed (which you recommend in your profile), but don't seem to be willing to try tabmix+.)
Firefox 3 has a recent-tabs-closed menu in history, too. I shall test it now, on this post. It successfully (sp?) restored my typing, too. edit: Bisqwit: What are your favorite entrées and desserts, or any food for that matter?

It's not necessarily a bug- if you're entering in an address/datum and you have 0-9 or a-f bound to controller, you don't want it inputting to controller while you do, do you?

Except that, with WoW, you have the network transmit problem in at player 1. Besides, watching 1 character blaze through everything would be more entertaining than a full raidforce. in re: more players difficulty- You get a bonus to experience gained per monster as w ell as them becoming harder, but I think that it the HP increase is greater (but, optimally, having two players doubles your damage output, so this can be negated)

No, SM64 movies get far more votes if I recall correctly. There's already an encode (sound is rather badly out of sync though), peruse the thread to find it.

Just the act 2/3 assembly quests would get sped up, really, aside from whatever benefit you get from second member. (Static field, on the double.) Whee, 1680x1050 Another multiplayer pro/con is that the map layout can be rerandomized without starting character over.

No, then you'd just have to get and use the Lens of Truth. Unless you had to go through a fake wall first to get that, I've forgotten. FTRecord, I enjoyed the way it skipped most of the temples.

[snark]I still feel cheated out of a Light Temple by this game. [/snark] how about: Goal is all dungeons spiritual stones/medallions obtained, all trials completed. alternately, Guano's run "ignores semi-important goals" and this does not.

You can't get abab from that one...unless * is 0 or more repetitions, which is the usual way it's used in defining languages (+ is 1 or more repetitions there)

Will be annoying for the audio to be 5 seconds off of video for the next two hours...but is the fault of encoder, not the TAS. *continues watching* I don't even pretend to understand how this run gets up to the edge to get into Shadow Temple. desync gets steadily worse...fun playing on the shadow ship. Hey Mido. Bye Mido. Play the Minuet on your shield! Fun in the Fire temple getting hotfeet, warp to death! fun. Water Temple: Your hookshot is not long enough. Link: Really? It looks like with a shield and some explosives, your door is not strong enough. "Hey, isn't that where you get the fire arrow? Oh, and it looks like the sun's right too." Spirit: Start with mirror shield and forget the silver gauntlets? hmm. Neat. "All of us six Sages are awakened!" riiight. Oh wait, you did do this last. Dead-warp again. Hah! Light arrow get. Golden gauntlets- ever so fun to watch. Pity there aren't more places you had to use them. Mockeries made of the tower enemies as usual. Eat shadow power, Navi. Desynched sound makes the "Oh no, sound from the rubble!" bit just silly. ...The Master Sword is showing its roots as a split-into-many thing again. Hmm. Red blood, whee. Ending? *skip* Yes vote, I liked the play even if the sonic desynch sucked a lot of fun out.

Particular songs I feel worth mentioning "Metal Harbor" and "Live and Learn" from Sonic Adventure 2, "E.G.G.M.A.N." a bit less "Open your Heart"and "Theme of E-102γ" from Sonic Adventure 1 *waits out the boos garnered from mentioning either of above games in music context* LttP Darkworld has already been mentioned but is always worth mentioning. And its Christmas Remix I found in midi form over on vgmusic.com. "TalTal Heights" from Link's Awakening [Particularly an amazing banjo-using remix] "Flying Battery Zone" and "Sky Sanctuary" from Sonic 3&KNuckles "Eternal Star" from Mario Party 1 "Mission Final" (I think that's the name of the score screen) from Metroid Prime 1 "A Hero's Final Day" "Overworld" "Opening" "Underworld" "Magic Rocks" and "Ending Theme" from Terranigma "Level 1-1" from Super Turrican(SNES) "Level 7" from Sparkster(SNES) "Cast" from Demon's Crest "Hyperspace" from Star Control 2 "Fight against Koopa" "Let's Play Geno" "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms" from Super Mario RPG "Gangplank Galleon" from Donkey Kong Country "End Credits" from Donkey Kong Country 2 "Zeromus" from Final Fantasy IVj "Battle Theme #3" from Lufia 2 "Night of Big Blue(story 4)" from F-Zero GX "Time's Scar" from Chrono Cross "Dungeon Theme" from Startropics "File Select" and whatever plays when the Crystal Stars let you fight the REAL final boss from PAper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door "Intro" "Ode to Lisa" "Ending" from Soul Blazer "Ayla's Theme" "Chrono Trigger" "Fanfare 1" "Schala's Theme" "Black Dream" "Battle with Magus" "Singing Mountain" and "To Far Away Times"

No, no- if you have 256*256 space, there are 65536 possible values for stick location- though some will be in the same direction, eg. (+1, +2) and (+2, +4)
