http://tasvideos.org/NewMovies.html Several recently "updated" videos have been obsoleted for ages now, why mention them, at all, ever on the page dedicated to "new" publications? Your meant to be listing new publications D:

Yeah, but it really wouldn't be that impressive beating them when all they do is build rooms that are insufficiently big enough to benefit them in any way because you'll always be able to lure significantly more monsters to your own cause. Only the levels which involve puzzles or humans would be of interest on any version but the patched Windows version.

It would probably be reasonably cool to see this game TAS'd. Last I checked the DOS version doesn't have fixed AI for enemy dungeon keepers though it does have a patch addressing memory or save game issues (included on my install disc as a separate install). The Windows 95 version with the patch applied (Same patch installer applies changes to both DOS and Windows versions) fixes the AI so that enemy dungeon keepers would properly build rooms etc. and actually posed a moderate threat to an unwary player. (without the patch their prone to building rooms smaller than 3x3 which is pointless) Perhaps include the many secret levels too?

Played perfectly here via Winamp, this game looks pretty remarkable for a GBC game.

I would love to see you collect every single item in the overworld just to show where everything (not in a shop) is and I agree with skipping ships that hold no useful items as that will indeed make viewers wonder why the hell you went there. I would like to see how arty you can be at killing all mini bosses as well as all corridor bosses while still killing them in a reasonable time. You are obviously familiar with the ability/(in-game) cheat to purchase more then one thing from a shop right?

Seeing this game destroyed could be interesting after watching the hell the LP'ers went through.
Only interesting if it doesn't use the dash levitation or travel on alternate layer tricks (up+down puts you on a different plane/layer)

Hello, I was wondering if someone who owns a NES (not famicon) could hook theres up to there computers soundcard via the a/v audio jack on the console and do a recording of this tune for me? it is to help with the audio engine in RockNES (a NES emulator). http://home.exetel.com.au/franpa/Metal Gear - snakes revenge, Virtuanes.7z I do not know where in the game the tune is played as it has been ages since I last played the game, I believe it is played late in the game?

Holy crap! When did the question get changed?!
The question used to be... Vote: Should this movie be published? (Vote after watching!) But was changed to... Vote: Did you like watching this movie? (Vote after watching!) So his post does indeed answer the question. /sarcasm
You got them around the wrong way, the question is Vote: Should this movie be published? (Vote after watching!)

Hey, part 19 is missing annotations and I think it was meant to have tons in it since part 20 starts out mentioning how the last part was very verbose.

youtube fixed the aspect ratio of the first video, you could re-enable annotations right? (unless I'm seeing 5:3 or whatever but not recognizing it correctly...)

There is no reason to still be using MPEG-2 - H.264 is far superior. Would you care to explain what exactly is unstable about it, except for the high CPU usage on 6 year old computers with shitty hardware/decoders?
Basically what you're saying here is if you had a video format which could not be played on any other computer but yours, and the quality was lossless and file size was a mb/min, then it would be perfect. What you're missing here is the fact that there may be quite a few people who have shitty 6 year old hardware, and if that's the case, and they don't have a ROM, then H26.4 is definitely not for them. So here's a radical thought: why don't you try using a different format, or encode in more than one format? It doesn't necessarily haveto be mpeg-2, but it will run on any machine without question.
Did you try FFDSHOW+WMP? (No, not WMPC)

Your english skills seem good enough to look at a dictionary and find out what Dialog or whatever part you don't understand means.

nobody should ever NOT follow through with a TAS system
Double negative, so you want someone to make a TAS of the games?

I think I suggested something like this:
2008-01-02 #1927 JXQ's Eatin' at Joe's in 04:30.00
            #1926 Somebody's Boring Adventure Game in 99:59:59.99
#1925 He's Running Out of Examples in 00:00.01
2008-01-01 #1000 A really old movie in 19:38.17
2008-00-99 # 999 Old movie II and who cares
But damned if I know where or when.
This is a good idea, also maybe something like columns so every individual part is lined up? EG:
DATE PUBLICATION NUMBER GAME NAME REGION AUTHOR TIME FILE TYPES PREVIOUS TIMES
DATE PUBLICATION NUMBER GAME NAME REGION AUTHOR TIME FILE TYPES PREVIOUS TIMES
DATE PUBLICATION NUMBER GAME NAME REGION AUTHOR TIME FILE TYPES PREVIOUS TIMES
at the moment it is like
DATE PUBLICATION NUMBER GAME NAME REGION AUTHOR TIME FILE TYPES PREVIOUS TIMES
DATE PUBLICATION NUMBER GAME NAME REGION AUTHOR TIME FILE TYPES PREVIOUS TIMES

I... am not that fond of the new site. is there a way to organize the "Newest movie publications" display so it shows each days worth of video's in a separate section to each other? can we (on a user by user basis, remove the starred and recent movie submissions from the front page? at the moment it is just waay too cluttered and hard to read and work out from a glance, what the latest published movies are.

Is this something that you didn't experience on the the .2 release? Also, I tried those settings and could not recreate your bug.
http://download21.mediafire.com/iz3nsiilw0mg/uy1nzqgykzg/fceux.cfg try that config file and just drag the right side of the window to the left, occurs under XP Home and Vista Home Premium 32bits. I do not remember if it occurs on the .2 release, but I believe it did yet I never bothered to mention it at the time because it doesn't really 'harm' a users work flow.
