Hello and welcome to TASVideos, dragoonanime! The movies we feature on this site typically start from power-on. However, your movie starts from the game's main menu. This is why the site pops up a warning stating that the movie starts from a savestate. Not only that, but your initial menuing appears to be entirely RTA input instead of being fully optimised. Whether or not this can be re-synced to start from power-on and fully optimised initial menuing inputs remains to be seen, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

You're very much welcome, Memory. I love you a lot! A note to other encoders and publishers: I'll be encoding and publishing this movie once it gets accepted.

Sync verified on an unmodified, Redumped ISO (SHA1: D7ADCDC8E3FE7F164EB95F53094974FC31E76CCB) with no extensions on the Wiimote: Anyway, this run was a treat to watch, so Yes vote on entertainment for me. A note to the encoder/publisher: The Direct3D11 backend should be used, else, the shadows will appear as black blobs (and that issue was fixed in a later Dolphin revision).

For what it's worth, the TAS syncs in Kubuntu 18.04 (64-bit), with the settings provided in the annotations.

While the enemy despawn trick is an interesting concept on its own, unfortunately, to me, it makes the run really dull to watch. You've practically seen what the run is about after the first two stages. From a technical standpoint, though, this run is really great. No vote on entertainment. Great fit for the Vault.

Still, it seems that Hourglass can't record mouse positions within the game window, or can it?
Quoting from the submission:
Because Hourglass doesn’t support mouse input, selecting it has to be done manually. Open the game, press F3, click OK in the dialog box, select Dark Boshy, type TAS above him, click Change!, close the game.
So no, you can't record mouse positions within the game window in Hourglass.

I quite like the overall pace of the TAS, so that it never felt boring to watch to me. The music isn't exactly the best, but far from the worst I've ever heard, though it might be detrimental to some. Overall, this gets a low-to-mid Yes vote on entertainment for me. It may have a shot at Moons.

Yeah, having two files, one used for the submission proper, and another one that can be used for encoding (which feos posted), is the most reasonable solution here. After all, it does reach an end screen (the Congratulations screen), and thus is still valid completion.

I enjoyed the CPU being utterly humiliated as you were breezing through the boards. Yes vote for entertainment from me. ..but I kinda wish Peach was used instead of Daisy, no offense.
